Canadians think Trudeau should rely less on trade with China but Canadians don’t want to give up their entitlements – July 21, 2020,
China’s free-market Communism economic model is kicking the Western world’s ass! I often write about Don Cherry and How he used to encourage Canadians to stop booing American Hockey players and cheering Russian hockey players during the winter Olympic games.
Why do Canadians have against the United States? Well, America is the closest thing to Capitalism Canadians know of and for the most part, Canada is a free market socialist nation. Communist don’t respect property rights, that’s why in China, a large chunk of their population don’t see the big deal in mass-producing knock-offs.
Canada respects property rights, but we also reserve the right to have government monopolies on particular industries we deem essential to Canadian culture. This delusion of grandeur of the Canadian economy has created a culture of entitlement, that effects the union culture in this country, which has led to an increased dependence on imports from China.
Now, one of the reasons a large chunk of working-class Americans love Donald Trump is Donald Trump’s stance on TARIFFS. If you’re a Libertarian, by the way, most Libertarians aren’t in the manufacturing business, you hate the idea of tariffs, but if you’re like me, and a portion of your business is now reliant on imports because Unions as an example have destroyed Ontario’s manufacturing sector, you 100% comprehend and love what Donald Trump is doing!
I don’t know what planet Canadians are on when they think that Justin Trudeau can rely less on trade with China, do you know what that would mean? you freaking Canadian morons, it would mean lifting trade barriers with the United States and possibly allowing the value of the Canadian dollar to go up!
The Canadian economy is ASS-BACKWARDS we have a higher standard of living based on almost every metric than the United States, but we devalue our currency. Canada and Austalia shouldn’t have currencies on par with each other.
Australia is reliant on China by necessity, Canada is reliant on China via our entitlement culture. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, it’s best you go to Amazon.com, not amazon.ca, and notice the additional fees Canadians have to pay in order to purchase something from Amazon.com.
If you’re dumb enough to think those additional fees are the result of Donald Trump, you’re an idiot, Canada via our political system has all sorts of blockades against the United States, which have killed American jobs and allowed China to take a large chunk of the Canadian market. Now, if you’re some Leftist Liberal or some puritan Libertarian, you have no clue how reliant Canada is on China by choice.
Canad isn’t alone on this either, this happens in Europe, in fact right now, Germany, yes Germany is becoming increasingly dependent on Russian gas. In Germany the Germans hate Nuclear energy, so because the Germans found out the hard way ow inefficient renewable energies are, they’ve switched their model to be reliant on foreign gas, because you know the environmentalists want to meet their Co2 emissions targets.
This is how retarded the world has become, France loves nuclear, which is why it’s called the Paris accord, most globalists come from France, France=Socialist, nuclear means France is ahead of the Co2 emissions targets game and the moronic nations of the world will kill their own energy economies to give to other socialist/communist nations.
This is pretty much how this deception works, screw over America in the name of socialism. Globalists are socialists, socialists often excuse the behavior of Communists because in their minds it’s all for the greater good. Canadians aren’t willing to give up their entitlements, so it’s unlikely that Trudeau will make any substantive trade changes with China because god forbid, Canada allowed Americans into the Canadian market, oh no, save Canada from all those cheaper prices, we need our union labor to drive wages up.
