CBC working hard to Protect the ‘Trudeau’ brand: Justin Trudeau trusts his corporate donors to protect him from ridicule – August 29, 2021,
As everyone in Canada expected, the media is coming to Justin Trudeau’s aid, as the “Trudeau brand” is in jeopardy. People tend to forget that Jean Chrétiens Liberal had to promise to CUT GOVERNMENT spending in order for the Liberals to get back into power.
Pierre Trudeau as I’ve stated in prior posts got out of politics just at the right time, his predecessors had to pay for the economic destruction Pierre Trudeau levied on this country. But this wise move by Pierre Trudeau saved the “Trudeau brand” If Justin Trudeau loses this election, because of his own arrogance, the Trudeau brand might equate to the Mulroney brand .
If any Conservative hears the name “Mulroney” they start to get angry, there’s a negative connotation associated with the name “Mulroney” in Canada, “Trudeau” on the other hand for many Canadians prior to Justin was associated with times of Canadians being “cool”. This is of course the real reason why Justin Trudeau has been able to get away with so much, when a lot of Canadians think of “Trudeau” they imagine “Pierre” but if Pierre Trudeau and Justin Trudeau are viewed as 2 very different men, all of a sudden if a “Trudeau” runs under the Liberal brand again, that Trudeau may have to earn their keep.
The NDP under Jack Layton managed to wrestle power away from the Liberals until Justin “Trudeau” showed up, if the NDP, Bloc, or the Greens manage to wrestle some seats away from “Trudeau” costing the liberals the election, this could set the Liberal Party back for decades.
The media knows this and they’re going to do everything in their power to protect the “Trudeau” brand. Canadian media has a lot to lose if one of the leaders of “Woke” culture loses an election he shouldn’t have called in the first place.
