If CERB is supposed to replace your employment Income, well then income is taxed, right? – CERB Recipients Face A ‘Shock’ At Tax Time. – July 5, 2020,
Oddly enough Justin Trudeau may have done with CERB what I wish was the norm in Canada. What I wish to happen in Canada was that employees had to pay income taxes at the end of the year. I’m against the Government taking out income taxes before people can spend it.
I want is Canadian-INCOME-TAX-PAYERS to have to send the government a check at the end of the year, It would be easier for Canadian income taxpayers to understand how wasteful the Canadian government is, if after they make say $30-120K in income that they have to send the government their income taxes and potentially have to wait in a government Passport lineup to do it.
I personally think this would help to limit the size of government if income-taxes weren’t taken directly out of people’s paycheck before they can spend it. Now, what a lot of people forget is that The Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) gives financial support to employed and self-employed Canadians who are directly affected by COVID-19. If you are eligible, you can receive $2,000 for a 4-week period (the same as $500 a week).
Now if you’re self-employed, you can write off a lot of expenses, but part of the reason Private Contractors, people in the Gig economy and Self-employed people are always under attack by Leftists, is because of the title of the article below written by Daniel Tencer in which he titles his article CERB Recipients Face A ‘Shock’ At Tax Time. Here’s How To Prepare you see, taxes, in general, are tied to assets, one of the reasons the fiat monetary system hasn’t crashed like it should is because when you have property rights, you don’t have to hoard cash, in fact, hoarding fiat cash is bad investment advice, you hoard assets because the government has almost guaranteed that you will lose your purchasing power if you hoard Government currency.
By appreciating assets, the government can steal more money from you, now and in the future. Smart self-employed people spend everything they can on cash-producing assets because as an example with dividend income you pay fewer taxes, were as with income taxes you pay taxes at the highest possible rate.
Now, actually what CERB and potentially a Universal Basic Income might actually do is inadvertently make more Canadians self-employed. Which in actuality is bad for socialism and the socialists. Karl Marx or Marxism was about enriching the working class, socialism which is derived from Marxism is about a big government and paying people not to work!
Marxism even you actually read it, is just as cutthroat as capitalism, socialism attempts to play both sides of the coin, but the reason socialism causes the most economic pain, is that it eventually destroys the incentive to work, why be a part of the proletariat when the government pays me to do nothing?
Well, even if the government pays you to do nothing, you still want to limit your tax burden, I’m sure people in Ontario who get Ontario works would like to get more money back from the government at the end of the year for being unproductive also.
But again with the CERB, the working class is going to get hit with a tax that helps to finance the people who don’t work for money! If you got CERB lawfully, at some point you were being a productive member of society, so what is expected to happen is even though some of the people who are lawfully on CERB who probably received less money annually than people on welfare, the people on CERB will have to pay back the government while the unproductive welfare recipients who probably weren’t trying to find a job prior to COVID-19 won’t have to worry about paying the government back anything!
Eventually, Liberalism bites the working lass in the ass, if you’re in the working class if I were you I’d demand people on Welfare pay their fair share! Why should the working class payback CERB while people on Welfare get to live rent-free?
If Trudeau wants your vote, if you’re a CERB recipient you better demand you not be forced to pay taxes on CERB. This is the problem with the WELFARE STATE in case people don’t know, eventually, everyone get’s onboard and becomes unproductive, the Welfare State destroys a culture, it destroys a nation.
I personally don’t see CERB recipients paying taxes on CERB, maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t see it. If you want to pay as little as possible on CERB read the article below.
