Today, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been identified and taken into custody in connection with the assassination. While the investigation continues, we must be careful not to rush to conclusions about his motivations. But as Christians, we are also called to discern the signs of the times and address the spiritual darkness that often precedes such evil acts.
A Christian Response: Liberty, Not Control
At the heart of this tragedy is a sobering reality: young people are being spiritually and emotionally manipulated by ideologies that seek to control, not liberate. Whether through radical secularism, extreme identity politics, or censorship culture, many of today’s youth are being taught that freedom of speech is dangerous, that truth must be silenced, and that disagreement is hate.
As Christians, we know this is a lie from the enemy.
