There’s an uncomfortable truth that I hope Canadians can learn from all of this. Most extradition treaties have a so-called “dual criminality” rule, which mandates that the crime must be illegal in both Countries, not just one in order for a person to be extradited. Now, in the case of Canada, we’ve depleted our military for social justice programs and because we’ve done this we’ve had to give up some concessions to America. The extradition treaty we have with the United States is there primarily because we’ve e decided that we need the U.S military for protection.

Furthermore, we’ve also entrapped ourselves in quite a few other deals that compromise our sovereignty in order for protection. So in short America hires Trump, Trump is trying to fix trade relations with China and other parts of the world, there’s a race to 5G which also involves Iran a country the U.S has tensions with and obviously assuming that Canada is friendly with China, Meng Wanzhou the Chief Financial Officer of Huawei makes the mistake of landing in Canada, we kidnap her for America and now China turns on us, because turning on America has much greater consequences. Now, again, this is one of the reasons I’ve always been against a lower valued currency because with our population size as a nation, a cheaper valued currency makes us appear smaller as an asset hub. Furthermore, with lower interest rates, savings get depleted faster and I’m genuinely unsure how much more bailouts Trudeau can give before real inflation starts to kick in on the Canadian consumer.

Not sure what’s going to happen in all of this, but Trudeau made the mistake of approaching the Trump administration with aggression, this is a tactic you use if you have absolutely no reliance on a country. America is our largest trading partner, Trudeau refused to pay more for NATO on several occasions he appeared to want to grandstand the U.S President, now as an adult, sometimes you have to deal with people you don’t like, but for the sake of your client (in Trudeau’s case that’s Canada) you be strategic, when the US President asked to renegotiate NAFTA, you don’t wait for him to create a deadline, you do what the Mexican Presidents did, you meet with Trump and hammer something out, you let him know how important the relationship is, you get in his face and get to know him intimately, because even though you might not like him, his country is important to your nations economy and your nation’s security.

One phone call from Trump and those two Canadians would have been released, if Trudeau has simply been aligned with the President from the early stages, China wouldn’t feel like it could pick on us, because it would know that we and the United States were aligned, but Trudeau has openly made a fool of himself, even referring to The Prime Minister of Japan as Chinese. Trudeau has been an embarrassment in India, in the Philippines on the global stage, he’s even been a meme for his remarks (“people kind”) it’s an embarrassment, Trudeau’s an embarrassment and although some of these events weren’t avoidable, many of them were. Don Cherry when commenting on Olympic hockey games often has to remind Canadians that we should be cheering for the USA team instead of the Russian team.

I think it’s the Leftist brainwashing that’s been force-fed into the Canadian public, why they seem to not understand who their true friends are.
