When you’re a bully and someone stands up to you, you’re then forced to sell yourself to others why they should feel sorry for you. In an open free market, this is how things work for the bully, ok bully it’s time for you to fight against someone who can actually fight back, what are you going to do? The bully has more to lose than his challenger does, why because his challenger usually isn’t a bully and onlookers expect to that the bully will win.
China is very important to the current global economy if China’s presences shrank in the global economy it would be devastating TEMPORARILY! It’s not like China does anything another country can’t do, the reality is China does it cheaper and more efficiently, but if China is gone, it can be replaced, the world is dependent on China because most countries of the world have governments and politicians that lie to their citizens. We all know we can get something for nothing, welfare is a scam, everyone knows this, but if someone is willing to fund our welfare, then hey, why the hell not.
Canada is simply in a good position, China needs access to the U.S market and without Canada or Mexico, if America asks China to reform and it refuses, the only market China has is Europe and it’s regressive taxation systems, so for the EU countries to be China’s mules, to the United States it won’t be to China’s benefit, China needs Mexico or Canada, and via the new USMCA deal, China would be left out in the cold with all of their rare earth minerals, that eventually would dwindle as other countries jockey for that market share.
Authoritarians are idiots, they’re bullies, their power comes from the belief of their recipients that they offer some sort of value. They’re really not. The Chinese people are offering value, the Chinese Communist Party is inefficiently run and at this point, I don’t even think a Democrat elected president would change their stance on China unless they only want to be a one-term president. China by definition can’t be a nation of consumers because the Chinese people under the Chinese Communist Party don’t have any PROPERTY RIGHTS! This is why the moment Chinese people get any money they get the hell outta China, the reality is if China were to wage a war, a lot of their military would probably flee the moment a shot was fired.
China is postering, Communism revolves around posturing, China, the Chinese people are less free than the Russian people are. Their only hope of freedom is an economic success which is why any of the Chinese people will work tirelessly to get the hell out of China. Now, could the Chinese Communist Party hurt the Canadian economy? Of course, they can, but deflation is exactly what the Canadian economy needs right now, the Leftist and centrist Canadian governments are terrified of deflation, because it entails them having to level with the Canadian public, but I personally have no fear over the Chinese Communist Party and what they can do. A good ole fashion economic wake-up call is okay with me. But a country that doesn’t respect property rights isn’t a country I worry about now or forever, because that regime will eventually fall, by the actions of its own people.
