Christian Socialism: Why a Christian Socialist Francis Bellamy Created the Pledge of Allegiance and why President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words “under God,” – October 17, 2021,

Although many imagine Socialism as this new phenomenon in American history, the truth is America started off socialist. If you’re unaware Nazis were National Socialists, Socialism also predates communism. Capitalism was used to free the Slaves, capitalism was the only economic and moral justification to free the slaves FREE-MARKET capitalism also provided an INCENTIVE to free the slaves.

Slave owners and believers of slavery often cited the Bible as a reason to justify slavery. Slavery is a part of socialism a central power having ECONOMIC control over other humans is both the promotion of slavery and socialism. I say this because it should surprise nobody when there are Christian Socialists. People often confuse mercantilism with capitalism, people also confuse imperialism with capitalism.

Whether this is blending free-market capitalism with anti-free-market capitalist ideals is intentional? Is beyond me, but it’s one of the reasons why there are so many people who imagine capitalism as an evil scourge on the earth. In actuality, it’s various branches of socialism that have been the most problematic and destructive to humanity.

Hitler learned from the Ku Klux Klan and during the era of Francis Bellamy the Ku Klux Klan, the KKK although claiming to be American, were anti-immigrant. During these periods, many whites immigrating to the United States were considered “N-words” by the Klan. Jews weren’t the only whites detested by racist often Anglo-Saxon whites, Italians, Greeks, Hispanic Whites all felt the wrath of the racists at one point.

In hopes to bring people together, Christian Socialist Francis Bellamy Created the Pledge of Allegiance. It should be remembered that Francis Bellamy “believed in the absolute separation of church and state”. I bring this up because Francis Bellamy could have easily added the words “under God” when he wrote the original pledge of allegiance, but he didn’t because if you’re a true believer in Christianity, you’d know that a person should volunteer themselves to God, and not be forced to believe in God and Jesus Christ.

It’s quite common for Christians to imagine themselves or align with socialist ideals, after all there are a lot of Christians who take an oath of poverty. So Christian Socialism shouldn’t confuse anyone, I’d say it’s rather natural. In Europe as an example a lot of the Socialists there are indeed Christians. In the modern era, we obviously now know the limitations of socialism, even in European nations in which many consider to be socialist, Federal minimum wage laws have been abolished and they’ve actually begun shrinking the size of their governments.

With that said, socialism or central control of power still remains a huge problem all over the world. This silly concept that a select few should dictate the direction of the world obviously leads to poverty, war, confusion, and division. I personally believe that when President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words “under God,” to the Pledge of Allegiance it was a mistake.

After all, Communist countries fell on their own, without the U.S having to fire a single shot. Fascism on the other hand has become a huge problem as the merger of Government and Corporate powers has been normalized since the Obama Administration when Obama and the U.S Government bailed out Wall Street. Now, where this has become very problematic are the terminologies being used, people don’t understand the economics of fascism, when most people think of fascism in 2021, they imagine “White Supremacy” but Fascism is a Corporate-Public partnership

With the Communists they want to take complete control over the means of production, this is stupid on multiple fronts, as it’s basically a repeat of slavery. Communism is not for the people, it’s for a select few in charge of it’s implementation, the people elected to the top tiers of a communist government will rule like Emperors, even if there’s a democratic process to communism, people who seek to be productive members of society are still oppressed by all the communistic bureaucracy.

With Fascism, the approach is different, big corporations, labour unions, and other special interest groups are incentivized to work with the government, and do the government’s dirty work. Under fascism, there are elitist groups, white German Fascism, the Arians would rule by fiat and the rest of us would be their serfs and slaves. People forget the NAZI Party was called the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, if you look at the original Nazi symbol it looks very similar to modern LABOUR UNION symbols.

When understanding Fascism, it’s important to remember it’s a branch of socialism, there’s nothing free-market about fascism, why this relates back to the United States adding the words “under God” to the Allegiance is that Christian Socialist Francis Bellamy was right for not including “under God” in the original pledge of allegiance, in fact, one might question if the pledge of allegiance is even necessary?

The problem with American history is that, it’s often taught with a narrative attached to it, instead of American history being taught to teach Americans about economic ideas that brought forth the most progress. It’s a fact until Capitalism was made law, America and most of the world was in abject poverty There is no way to incentivize people not to enslave others without capitalism or FREE MARKETS.

All branches of socialism incentivize a select chosen group in society to LIMIT freedoms, liberties, and the pursuit of happiness. Socialism doesn’t align with ANY natural laws, with every single socialist ideology a select group of people seeks to redistribute what they imagine as “resources” equitably in a manner the socialists deem fit.

The animal kingdom as an example doesn’t operate this way, nothing in nature operates this way, there are no natural laws that adhere to a central “mammal” power source. Socialism and Leftism in general is an oppressive construct that seeks to make the unnatural natural. Now, with that said, what’s the flaw in Capitalism? The answer is Greed, not only the greed of people who are winners in capitalism but the greed from people who imagine themselves to be LOSERS in Capitalism.

With capitalism, most people don’t imagine improving the standard of living to be an achievement, a person in poverty in modern America often lives better than working middle-class people in Socialist Latin America or Socialist Africa. When a quasi-capitalist system produces wealth, people label it imperialism or white supremacy.

The socialists will argue,That free-market or capitalistic wealth wasn’t derived by being people exchanging ideas freely without central control, no, the socialists will argue, that capitalistic wealth was derived because people were being exploited? If people are being exploited then capitalism is evil? Well, for many of us who believe in Free Markets, we’re opened to ending a CENTRALIZED money supply.

Recently something called Bitcoin has really taken off, Bitcoin is called digital Gold, now although a lot of people like to point to America having a Gold Standard, the truth is that money historically could be whatever people want it to be.

As long as something is accepted as a medium of exchange, it can be considered money. Gold and Silver are commonly used as money, but Bitcoin can be accepted as money, laundry detergent can be accepted as money, anything can be accepted as money. But because most people have been brainwashed into believing that only Rule-by-FIAT-Government-Currencies are money, attaching capitalism with GREED becomes easier.

What will shock most people is how fast an economy grows without central powers, especially in this era of technological advancements. Anyone who understands Capitalism understands that Capitalism is plagued by DEFLATION, deflation is only a problem for CENTRAL POWERS or believers in big central powers.

Deflation occurs because when given the liberty, if let’s imagine Gold and Silver are widely used as mediums of exchange and all of a sudden people want to start trading in Bitcoin, well this becomes a problem for the central powers, who might be taxing people, or who might have public-corporate partnerships that redistribute “money” from one group of people to another group of people.

This is not how capitalism was designed, yes there were legal tender laws, but before taxes were made permanent, nobody was forced to use government approved money, because of this liberty and freedom people loved America, but you see the socialists, have always wanted to concentrate power in America into a few hands and this is why free markets have been demonized.

I wrote this post because the pledge of allegiance was in reaction to the mood of America at the time, the writer assumed like many Christians of that era, assumed that the world or America was going to end if someone didn’t do something to unite the country. I’ve always believed that the unfiltered truth, unites people.

I’m a Christian but I disagree with adding “Under God” to the pledge of Allegiance, people have a right to be atheists, I don’t want to force people to believe in God, force is something central planners believe in. I believe in Freedom and I believe in the concept of America, I believe if Americans and the people of the world, in general, are given an unfiltered educational lesson on American history in which different ideas are presented, people will appreciate American history so much more.

For thepeople not interested in American history, they should be challenged for attempting to promote a narrative. In every era, you have to look at the totality of that environment, what was happening, what was the mood, what was the popular culture of the time. The Good, Bad, and ugly.
