Chrystia Freeland’s resumé is tailor-made to be finance minister if you want the Canadian economy to CRASH – August 21, 2020,
For the record former prime minister Kim Campbell who never won an election to become the Prime Minister of Canada, isn’t in a position to convince Canadians what Chrystia Freeland is tailor-made to do. From what I’ve learned about Chrystia Freeland si that she’s ideological, which doesn’t bode well for Western Canada, because she appears to be pro-green energy and I’m not sure how that will translate as finance minister, but let’s just say things aren’t looking to good for Western Canada and Canada’s private sector right now.
Bill Morneau, who married into a Billionaire family, deemed it wise to go after Canada’s upper WORKING middle class when he was first sworn in. Now, I don’t know if it was Bill Morneau’s intent to target reverse what Paul Martin did, but he attempted to do it anyway and eventually, his undisclosed Villa in France was exposed to the public.
Understanding Late Stage Socialism
Now, I’ll be honest, it’s my belief that Trudeau’s cabinet has a lot of low IQ individuals running it. I don’t even know if they purposely intend to be corrupt, I genuinely believe that they’ve made the wrong career choice. Fortunate for them we live in a democracy and a lot of Canadians love the Welfare State, so this to me is yet another reason why Canada unknowingly is headed for Late Stage Socialism.
Late Stage Socialism is common in what was once a market-based economy, Socialism in practice is complicated when you create socialist programs and initiatives, these socialist programs need to be measured and monitored thoroughly.
In Singapore, as an example their housing market, for the most part, is socialized. However the Singapore government focuses on it, it’s a priority and because most of Singapore’s economy is market-based, its government is able to focus on their socialized health care and their socialized housing market.
Socialism has price to it, you can’t socialize something and just allow it to run rampant in the economy, anything non-market-based has no incentive to be efficiently run. The more socialism you allow into a country, the more inefficient the country becomes, you recognize late-stage socialism based on the behavior of the greater population.
The world has entered into a period in which there’s a belief that central bank liquidity is being confused with printing money. The Bank of Canada is NOT printing money, in fact, what’s happening to the Canadian economy right now is deflation, during late-stage socialism, the printing of money distorts CASH-FLOW!
Meaning servicing of debts become impossible as asset prices become unaffordable to cash flow, this is when good money absconds out of a market and this often catches people by surprise because most people who aren’t active participants in a market economy don’t imagine REGULATIONS to be a form of socialism.
Minimum wages as an example is a form of socialism, your entire tariff system is distorted when you have a minimum federal minimum wage, which is why many countries in Europe have abandoned the minimum wage and replaced the minimum wage with other regressive taxes.
Socialism has to be a constant work in progress and the problem Canada has, that goes ignored is that the size of our government doesn’t shrink, it doesn’t adapt, it’s not flexible and our public servants are entitled to job security. All of this equates to Late-Stage Socialism and when the CBC props up one of Canada’s worst Prime ministers to give credibility to Chrystia Freeland’s resumé to be Canada’s finance minister, this o me screams Late Stage Socialism!
