Why a Conservative Split Vote Could Be Disastrous For the Liberal Party of Canada – August 24, 2018,
As I’m writing this what comes to my mind with Maxime Bernier’s leaving the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada is some type of unification with Maxime Bernier’s new party and the Libertarian Party of Canada. A 3% vote is all that is needed in my opinion, a few seats in a few different ridings and viola you have a real conservative voice in the mainstream media. Forget about Maxime Bernier winning the election let’s think more about a Trudeau having a minority house and the NDP losing influence amongst Canadians.
I’ve been saying this for years now, I even said this while Stephen Harper was Prime Minister Canada should be the richest nation in the world by a landslide, it shouldn’t even be close, not only that it’s my belief that Canada can be the Global standard for Immigrant prosperity while at the same time maintaining and even growing the population of old stock Canadians.
White Europeans in Canada aren’t having children primarily because of socialism which has resulted in an unnecessary higher cost of living. Now, this is why the free market solution is anti-racism, white Europeans created socialism, which if you look all across the globe has caused birth rates amongst native European societies to decrease. This, of course, has made Canada and many other developed European countries dependent on immigration to keep their Ponzi scheme afloat.
Now, to merely have this discussion in a mainstream outlet is considered racist, however, in Canadian society, having discussions about Old Stock Canadians being replaced is not only ok but at times promoted. In my personal opinion this wrong, no Canadian should be instinct and again in my opinion if though I don’t think it’s in their best interests the only cultural or racial group that should be entitled to anything in Canada are the First Nations people. No, other racial or cultural groups should get any preferential treatment in Canada, because Canada has for the most part been a nation of peace.
That aside Maxime Bernier’s Conservative Party will have the ability to change the mindset of many Canadians. Of course, this will be a gradual thing, I get that many Conservatives want massive change right now, but that’s not how this works. If it’s one thing I’ll credit to Stephen Harper for, it was his patience. Also In past posts what I gave Stephen Harper credit for was lowering the GST. Harper was patient, non-intrusive, very bland and a pretty good French Canadian speaker. stephen Harper grew on the Canadian people and the moment the Paul Martin scandal broke Stephen Harper pounced dethroning one of Canada’s all-time best finance ministers.
The problem with modern day Progressive Conservatives is their complacency it’s very easy for a person like me to see why Justin Trudeau beat Stephen Harper. If I was a Canadian voter that knew very little about economics, and how the Canadian economy functions and I listened to Stephen Harper and Justin Trudeau speak I would choose Justin Trudeau also, because during the election Justin Trudeau offered to legalise marijuana, raise taxes on the rich, cut loopholes for the rich, borrow money/run a deficit to grow jobs in the public sector and give away from stuff.
Now, if Stephen Harper was a true Conservative during his period in office he could have debunked Justin Trudeau’s arguments before they got any legs, but Stephen Harper didn’t do this, instead during Stephen Harpers’ time in office he spent most of his time being rather bland, which eventually becomes boring which ultimately leads to Canadians wanting a change, why have socialism light when I can get full blown socialism?
In America, the parties are divided and the Conservative/Republicans always come out swinging so the Democrats often find themselves having to defend redistributing peoples income to fulfill their Leftist political ideology. This is why there are Obama’s and Bill Clintons and Ronald Reagans and Donald Trumps. It’s a real ideological debate and when presented to an educated public the Conservative voice typically resonates with the hard working middle classes while the Leftist voice often resonates with bourgeoisie and welfare entitled classes.
In Canada, we don’t give enough credit to the effect Pierre Trudeau had on Canadian politics. We are still living under Pierre Trudeau’s Canada, he’s the main reason why many Canadians believe that it’s the government’s role to take care of us financially, it’s Pierre Trudeau’s ideas that fuel the Canadian mainstream media, however, it’s former Prime Minister Paul Martin’s financial savvy that’s kept the Canadian economy afloat. This is why Justin Trudeau’s cabinet undermining what Paul Martin did is creating an economic disaster that many of us on the political right can see about to unfold.
I’ve been saying this for about 2 years and I’ll say it again, I don’t mind if Justin Trudeau wins the next election, I’d actually like it if he won a majority, I want the economic crash to happen under Justin Trudeau’s watch, Prior to Maxime Bernier leaving the party I was already saying to myself that I don’t think it’s a good thing if the Conservatives win the upcoming election, because the economic destruction is already here and fixing it will require serious change in Canadian society. Canadians aren’t going to change if they believe the problem was caused by Progressive Conservatives however they will change if the crash happens with Liberals in power.
Pierre Trudeau got out of politics at the perfect time, Brian Mulroony got into politics at the wrong time and Brian Mulroony spent most of his political life trying to clean up Trudeau’s mess by raising taxes and maintaining Pierre Trudeau’s status quo, this is one of the reasons why Brian Mulroney is so hated by most Conservatives. In many respects, Brian Mulroney is Progressive Conservatism which now leads me to Maxime Bernier whose an actual conservative voice who’s not afraid of the big stage. In the CBC News article which you can read below the writer appears to frame the Progressive Conservative opposition to Maxime Bernier around “Mad Max” being an individual that loves attention.
Facing a schism, Conservatives try to knock Maxime Bernier down a peg
Progressive Conservatives shouldn’t bash Maxime Bernier and Maxime Bernier should not Bash the Progressive Conservatives.
However what the writer fails to comprehend is that Conservatives like Donald Trump types that can speak up for them because quite frankly, most Conservatives are quiet, humble people that genuinely just want the government to leave them alone. This is one of the reasons why Donald Trump is loved in the United States by Conservatives. Of course, conservatives see Donald Trump’s obvious flaws, his lies, the tactics he uses, his overconfidence, his infidelities etc. But he still represents a lot of the conservative economic values which in the conservative few trumps Social problems. Social problems fix themselves when humans have their own money.
Conservatives know that when the government starts redistributing money and resources that’s where the problems start. Liberals and Leftists have a hard time understanding this because they’re usually obsessed with other people’s money and how to punish the rich for being so rich, which ultimately leads leftist to even give up their freedom of speech, their ability to defend themselves and their liberty in order to fulfill an altruistic goal which is then controlled by the government. Conservatives altruism typically revolves are their religious practices and in Canadian society, the separation of Church and State in many respects allows Conservative to forgive Donald Trump characters for their religious flaws.
So with that said Maxime Bernier might have a bigger impact on the election than people think, all I will say is I don’t think the Progressive Conservatives should go out of their way to bash Maxime Bernier. If anything Progressive Conservatives should remain focused on defeating Justin Trudeau.
Maxime Bernier will stick to his ideas which ultimately favors the Progressive Conservatives, a split vote with Maxime Bernier is not a bad thing.
The great thing about Justin Trudeau is how left-leaning he is. which will ultimately equate to Maxime Bernier and the Progressive conservatives aligning together on many issues. So what if Maxime Bernier doesn’t believe in supply-side management it’s only one issue, I don’t think it’s in the Progressive Conservatives best interest to bash Maxime Bernier. I also don’t think it’s in Maxime Bernier to bash the Progressive Conservatives.
Interesting times ahead.
