Defund The CBC: “Do not refer to militants, soldiers or anyone else as ‘terrorists.’ – Members of Canada’s State-Run Media Seek to REDEFINE Terrorists – October 10, 2023
I am very critical of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission(CRTC), which for the most part, is directly responsible for why Canadian media is bland. I’ve in prior posts argued, that Canadian PRIVATE media hasn’t been able to blossom because of the CRTC, which is the root cause of media in Canada being, for the most part, BANKRUPT.
If you’re under CRTC jurisdiction in Canada, you’re incentivized to self-censor your media content to appease the CRTC overlords. Because freedom of speech in Canada is weaker than it is in the United States, by that, I mean Canadian judges, will typically side with GOVERNMENT entities (The CRTC is a Crown Corporation/State Owned Enterprise), so most private media entities in Canada don’t even bother to attempt to push the envelope whereas, in the United States, that’s all their media does.
This equates to Canadian private media rendering the CBC in many ways utterly useless to ENGLISH Speaking Canada. Canada’s private media will often do the State brainwashing for the Canadian government. I bring this up, because people employed by CBC, in this media environment will often feel the need to go even further to the Left of the political spectrum, to prove their worth.
This is what believe happened here, CBC is mostly needed by French-speaking Canadians, because in the Americas, Quebec is basically the only remaining French-speaking nation, meaning there’s no French market for Quebecers outside of their province.
Everyone in Canada knows Quebec has an anti-semitism problem. Being that French-speaking Canadians consume the CBC the most, I can comprehend why George Achi MIGHT write that in an email. Below is the email written by George Achi.
“Do not refer to militants, soldiers or anyone else as ‘terrorists.’ The notion of terrorism remains heavily politicized and is part of the story,” CBC’s director of journalistic standards, George Achi, wrote in an email to employees on Saturday.
I would not be one to accuse George Achi of being a racist, but I’m certain he’s aware of the racist French comments made about Jews on the French version of CBC. He definitely did not want to TRIGGER them.
You have to remember that in Quebec, they have the National Socialist/white supremacist types, the Far Left Socialists, the Democratic Socialists, the Muslim extremists, the black supremist and the communists all piling on the Jews day after day, month after month, year after year.
When it comes to all forms of socialism, their entire Left-Wing schtick is that their poverty is the result of the evil, greedy Jew. I used to be a Leftist, and I’ve said it over and over again: there are a lot of White Supremacists in the NDP, there are a lot of Left-Wing anti-Semites.
Are there Conservatives Anti-Semites? Absolutely, but the Conservative racists usually aren’t violent, nor do they spew their rhetoric with the same vitriol you’ll see from the Left Wingers.
True conservatives don’t blame poverty on Jews; true conservatives are usually believers in individualism, which puts the onus on the individual. Socialism is a form of collectivism, which equates to socialists often conflating all their SOCIAL and ECONOMIC problems on the ZIONIST Jew.
Now, Jews are often Socialists themselves, as many of them conflate Conservatives with FASCISTS/National Socialists. As a Christian myself, I tend to believe most Jews become Leftists because being Jewish can be TAXING, and a lot of Jews do NOT like the idea of freedom of speech, as they imagine freedom of speech equates to HATE speech against them.
So this is where you’ll see Jews often siding with the Leftists who want to control speech vs. Conservatives like myself, who believe in freedom of speech. I’m not writing this post to make it seem like there’s a PERFECT solution to anything; I’m merely telling things from my perspective.
As it relates to the CBC, until proven otherwise, you won’t see me claim that George Achi was being intentionally malicious; what I do recommend you do, is if you don’t speak French, start Google translating French comments from Quebecers when you do that, you’ll get a better comprehension as to why George Achi was likely terrified to refer to Hamas terrorists as the TERRORISTS they are.
In the private sector, media organizations are rewarded or punished by the market for the decisions they make, but when it comes to the CBC, they’re rewarded. Whether you agree or disagree with the actions of George Achi as a Canadian, you’re left financing the CBC he works for. This is wrong, and the CBC should be DEFUNDED!
Interesting times ahead!
