Divisive Socialists & Censorship: Canadian MPs call for special protective agency after threats spiked in Justin Trudeau era – July 18, 2025

Posted on July 19, 2025 by RichInWriters

If you’re a Christian and still identify as a leftist, I urge you: read the Bible — and read it with fresh eyes. Socialism isn’t a new idea; it’s just a modern rebrand of old-world control and censorship, dressed up in empathy but rooted in suppression.

At its core, socialism — like unrestrained democracy — often silences truth in favor of popular consensus. But popular opinion doesn’t equal righteousness. Just because something is socially accepted doesn’t make it godly or even good. Democratic socialism, in particular, combines two very familiar evils: mob rule and state dependency.

Let’s rewind to ancient Greece, where democracy was born. Even back then, it had a dark side. Socrates was executed for questioning the legitimacy and wisdom of democratic ideals — a man killed simply for pointing out the flaws in society’s shiny new system.

The Romans, in contrast, started with a Republic — from the Latin res publica, or “public thing” — a system built for order and balance. Today, many so-called socialist nations still call themselves “republics,” though ironically they function more like command centers than communities. Meanwhile, Christ doesn’t ask us to build a republic. He tells us to seek the Kingdom of God — not the democracy of God, not the socialist collective of God — but a Kingdom.

Kingdom, Not Control

Man-made systems always try to hijack spiritual truths. Secular thinkers repurpose concepts like individualism or the law of attraction, stripping them of divine origin and repackaging them as “self-help.”

Leftists, especially the extreme ones, often believe they can control people — or even control reality itself — through censorship, lawmaking, or ideological enforcement. That’s not freedom. That’s idolatry.

Yes, you can argue that Christians are “divisive.” But our Kingdom is not built through coercion. Our tools are words, not weapons. Our message is an invitation, not a mandate. Christianity is not a religion in the political sense — it’s a form of self-governance under God.

So when Christians vote for men and women who stack rules and bureaucracies on their backs, they often forget: our Savior is not mortal. Relying on politicians to fix what only God can restore is a recipe for disappointment — and sometimes, destruction.

The Rise of Trudeauism

Justin Trudeau was democratically elected in Canada — no conspiracy there. In fact, the country doubled down on progressive ideology by electing his former advisor, Mark Carney, in 2025.

But Trudeau’s reign ushered in an era of division, censorship, and ideological overreach. It’s gotten so bad that Canadian MPs are now asking for special security protections due to escalating death threats — a symptom, not the cause, of a broken social contract.

And why are people angry? Because Leftist leaders often behave like gods. They rewrite biology (“there are more than two genders”), export their ideologies to countries like India and China, then import millions of people from those same nations — people who may or may not share foundational Canadian or Christian values.

Christianity vs. Forced Unity

God doesn’t command us to pick political sides — He commands us to stand in truth and love. But that truth often divides. When Christians are censored, mocked, or punished for holding to biblical truth — whether it’s about gender, morality, or the nature of life — you begin to see why so many cultures have historically clashed.

Why? Because most cultures rely on force to achieve their agendas, while Christianity offers freedom and voluntary transformation. That’s a hard pill to swallow for both tyrants and activists.

Canada’s prosperity was built on freedom, limited governance, and a basic moral compass. But secularists always need a “problem” to solve — a cause to justify control. That’s what happens when you don’t believe in Jesus: you start playing God.

Who Owns What?

Let’s talk about land. It’s true that indigenous peoples were in Canada long before Europeans arrived. But what property structures existed? Even today, federal money goes to First Nations bands, not individuals. Checks are issued to Chiefs and Councils, not to the people directly. How free is that?

One could argue this top-down approach keeps many First Nations from realizing their full autonomy and potential — not because of colonialism, but because of modern bureaucracy and dependency.

Yet Trudeau and others paint Christians as villains. When churches were burned down in First Nations communities, little was done to condemn the violence. Instead, Trudeau pushed an unproven narrative — that Christians indiscriminately killed indigenous children — and allowed that narrative to go unchecked.

That’s dangerous. If you’re a First Nations person and you hear that story with no rebuttal — no counterpoint — how easy would it be to radicalize your perspective? And when you combine that with imported radicalism, anti-Christian sentiment, and far-left white guilt — it’s no wonder Canada feels like a powder keg.

Atheists, Secularists, and the Worship of “The Science”

Socialists love to slow down progress by inventing problems like “climate change” — and then proposing we solve it by putting a price on pollution, as if taxing carbon will change the weather.

This isn’t science — it’s dogma. At one point, “settled science” claimed the sun revolved around the Earth. Dissenters were ostracized, imprisoned, or killed. That’s what censorship does — it silences the truth and tries to kill God’s message.

Today’s “progressive science” is just a new form of state religion, enforced through fear, shame, and policy. If Canadians keep voting for Trudeau-style politicians, Canada will fracture further, become more corrupt, and potentially more violent — especially as criminals realize the justice system has no moral foundation.

Final Thought

Christians, I urge you: stop relying on the state to be your savior. Stop electing people who pretend to be God. And to those who still believe in truth, liberty, and grace:

Consider making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior today.
