First thing i want to point out is that in this post i will be explaining how to setup a wordpress.org blog and not a wordpress.com blog. Like many other people i do like free things but if you are serious about creating blog that makes you money you need one that has hosting. In this post like in all my posts i am not going to color coat anything. If you intend to create a blog just to spam people in this day and age the truth of the matter is that you won’t get far.
When i write i write from personal experience i don’t write for one size fits all. First thing i will point out about creating a blog. The point of a blog is to provide the internet with updated information. I personally do not use blogs to sell people things. If i want to sell people things i will usually create a stand still websites and use some form of pay per click marketing to promote it. When i create a blog it’s usually for either my subscribers list or for the search engines. WordPress.org blogs are made for search engines. That being said there are some things you need to understand before you build a blog.

The first thing you need to understand is that having a wordpress blog can get you banned or blacklisted from the search engines in a hurry. If you use duplicated content or if the topics of your posts don’t match content in your posts or even if your wordpress blog is just configured wrong these things can lead to a delay in the search engines response to your blog. That being said in my opinion it’s best to create a wordpress.org blog on topic you enjoy writing or talking about.
Do not over look this area. Also do not fall under the “guru spell” many of you reading this have ran into those get rich quick scheme presentations where the online guru makes it seem like making money is so easy… The truth of the matter is that making money online not only easy but it’s also fun, but if you allow someone to dictate to you exactly what you need to do than making money online won’t be fun and most of you will give up in a few days.
