In an effort to prevent rising competition from dethroning them Uber Canada seeks labour law changes to provide benefits to drivers, couriers – March 10, 2021,
I’ve been hearing the words “f*ck Uber” more and more every day in Toronto, and the reason why a lot of people in Toronto are walking away from Uber is because of ridesharing competition, it’s getting easier and easier to start your own ride-sharing business and Uber is still an unprofitable business model, which has yet to realize any real profits for shareholders.
Most of the tech giants like Twitter, Facebook, and others that benefit from Leftist politics have been using the force of government to secure their tech-monopoly on their respective markets. I’ve been writing about how dumb Liberals, Progressives, and Leftists have been getting every year for years now, and these savvy techpreneurs are using Socialists and their economic stupidity against them. I’m sure Uber sees the writings on the wall that Canadians love choice and Uber wants to change all of that and force them into using Uber exclusively.
Now, for those of you living in Canada, who think that Canadians aren’t dumb enough to fall for this blatant scheme to raise the costs of starting your own ride-sharing business, take a look at the taxicab industry, which lobbied the government to regulate its industry to ward off competition for both the taxi cab businesses as well as future taxi cab drivers.
Most taxi cab drivers had to dive into debt to become taxicab drivers, now, unfortunately, Canadian media is dumber than a box of rocks, because when I read the article I listed below, the writer wastes the entire post writing about uber avoiding paying the minimum wage and other stupid time-consuming labor union ideals, as if uber drivers want to trade their freedom in to be wage-slave-employees.
The whole point of being a gig worker is to avoid government regulations which also include wage oppressive wage control laws and collective bargaining, remember that the entire article below, has no mention of Uber drivers wanting a labor union, the entire article below is about Uber taking the initiative to lobby government to raise the barrier to entry to become a ride-sharing business.
If people ever wonder why media is failing in Canada, consider reading the article below written by Tara Deschamps.
