The world needs a break from Leftism, Every person with common sense knows Leftism is impatience mixed with laziness. Leftism exists because people want things now and they (the leftists) want to use the power of government to force those that produce to give to those that don’t produce. Most of the solar panels not made in the United States or Germany are made in China, most renewable technologies are not made in Canada, The Canadian governments to date don’t have a concrete plan on how to tackle climate, Canada hasn’t even begun to build an infrastructure that would allow us to be a renewable energy powerhouse.
The feed-in tariff model that’s going to expire under Ford is corporate welfare, I’m all for renewable energies but as I’ve said on this blog many times, if Canada really wanted to get off the grid they’d support a grid fall back system, which is a system where batteries would power your home until the battery has no juice at which time your electricity would then be powered by the grid.
Now some of you reading that might say to yourself well that doesn’t sound very cost efficient? My reply to that is well it would be more cost-efficient than forcing taxpayers to pay for corporate welfare. Tesla’s as an example aren’t made in Canada, they’re made in the U.S. Furthermore do yourself a favor and search Google or Bing for the following search term:
I only found one company and it wasn’t large? How many can you find? Now, if EV’s are so important to you that all taxpayers should pay for it, why aren’t these green partiers trying to create a manufacturing base for renewable energies in Canada? In my mind it’s common sense, why would you want to outsource renewable energies to countries where you have no say so in that countries electoral process? It’s silly, it’s retarded and it’s why all these subsidies have to go. Because of all this protectionism there are more billionaaires on this planet than ever before, if the market demands clean energy, clean energy will be delivered and for a lot cheaper.
But if these lazy lefties who ionly want to march and don’t want to work in factories and do things like assembly line worker, welding, heavy lifeting, installing solar panels in desert heat, going door to door selling renwable energies and devoting their entire lives to a cause that’s really important to them, what we’re going to be left with are Al Gore’s. Politicians who talk about Global warming for a profit. The easy part is talking about something, the hard part is physically doing something.
Demand for renewable energies is here, but big government and excessive regulations have stunted it’s growth, it’s one of the reasons Canadian renewables can’t even get off the ground without the assistance of government. The Leftist priced themselves out of the renewable energy space, the raised the cost of labour so high that in order to turn a profit it’s in Canada’s best economic interests to buy solar panels from China and charge tax payers for the bill. That’s corporate welfare, these Green party people, would rather that than pool their money together and start renewable energy businesses right here in Canada.
The truth about solar panels, is that the price of labour in Canada is artificially high because of Labour Unions, minimum wages and taxes. But you see to address those fundamentals would undermine Leftism in its entirety, I’m Leftist I’m not going to work for free for an extended period of time, make the government handle it, ask the government to give tax payers money to a giant corporation with SHAREHOLDERS who will gladly solve global warming for us. Canada better wake up soon, because the rest of the world is catching up, in the real world there is the ebb and flows to all countries who remain leftist too long. New Zealand had to drop it’s protectionist measures eventually, when will Canada.
