Environmental Socialists Are Targeting Bitcoin miners: Bitcoin’s energy use is ‘staggering’ – February 28, 2021,
This has actually been a taking point of mine for over a year now and it’s the Bitcoin miners’ close ties to the Chinese Communist Party, who are currently responsible for some of the dirtiest energy on the planet. For economic reasons, Bitcoin miners will gravitate to wherever energy is cheapest, this demand for cheap Chinese energy is so great that the Chinese Communist Party has already successfully launched their own CENTRALIZED digital currency.
Why I wish Bitcoiners would stop calling their digital asset digital Gold is that their digital asset doesn’t do anything. Once it’s mined it’s a DIGITAL ASSET and its value is based on whatever the market is willing to pay for it. Now, because of the high energy usage associated with Bitcoin, the higher the price goes the more it’s going to get the attention of the greediest political group in human history, which are The Socialists.
Socialists want a giant Welfare State and to make matters worse, there are another group of socialists called the Environmental-Socialists. These socialists are often backed by energy cartels, that their cut of everything. I’ve been calling the carbon tax a tax to breathe for years, if you look at the makeup of many of these unnecessary environmental regulations and where the taxes collected from these regulations are going, you’d notice labour unions and few other corporate entities as the beneficiaries of these carbon tax laws.
At the end of a socialist’s Politicians career, all you need to do is pay attention to where they do their speeches after they leave politics and some of the entities that pay these politicians a premium to speak. Now, the people who are long Bitcoin would be wise to pay attention to the rise of their digital asset, because the higher the price goes, the more their digital asset would be scrutinized.
Every time the Bitcoin is halved, it gets dirtier and consumes more energy, and the end result isn’t something physical it’s something digital that also requires a lot of energy to maintain the infrastructure. Now I’m not writing this to predict the future of Bitcoin, but what I am telling the reader is that you’d be wise to pay attention to the socialists because socialists are greedy and they love to destroy things!
