The reason you don’t tax the “RICH” is because they have options to leave. Most EMPIRES were destroyed because the short-sighted ruling classes taxed the “rich” and after the rich had their wealth STOLEN, they either died, gave up, went bankrupt or left the country, either way you can only take everything from someone else and if you’re not able to duplicate their success after stealing from them, you’ll soon find yourself just as poor as you were before you stole from them.
When Socialists say tax the rich, they’re really saying tax the PRODUCTIVE. When you hear tax the rich, you should be asking who are the beneficiaries, after the rich get taxed.
Canada under PIERRE Trudeau was the beneficiary of then declining Europe, there was no European Union, no EURO, so Canada, was the beneficiary of the best and brightest Europe had to offer, however, under JUSTIN Trudeau, CAPITALISM is embraced GLOBALLY, not only in Europe but in Asian countries. Sure it’s still a little uncomfortable for most people to say “I’m a capitalist” out loud, but if you’re a PRODUCTIVE person, you know who the short-sighted socialist idiots are, as soon as they start talking.
If you’re a productive person, why would you waste time arguing with socialists when you have the option to LEAVE THEM ALONE?
With the exception of the inherited wealth, most “rich” people are productive people, some people LIKE TO WORK, I know it sounds strange to people who enjoy leisure, but some of us enjoy working and taxing the rich, really means more ADMINISTRATIVE work for PRODUCTIVE people. One of my largest expenses is bookkeeping and taxes, not for myself, but for my “partner” the government.
For example, a large chunk of my income that could be used to hire more people is set aside just to PAY TAXES; it’s one thing if I’m paying taxes and the government leaves me alone, but imagine paying taxes and then being CENSORED and rendered voiceless by your government. Why would any PRODUCTIVE person put up with that?
You have to also remember that the Emergencies Act fiasco really did happen, Justin Trudeau DID change Canada and the perception of the western world when he did what he did, and if you’re rich, you have to know you’re a future target, even currently, most people in Canada know that inflation is because of ESG and Carbon Taxes, and Justin Trudeau changing the tax code, but the media wants you to believe that LOBLAWS is the cause, yes, sure, Canada has some a lot of idiots, but not everybody is stupid.
In closing, and this should only surprise you if you’re a hard Left ideologue, both Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh are EMBARASSMENTS; Canada’s government is an embarrassment, they’re pathetic, they cringe, they’re stupid, and any PRODUCTIVE person can see it.
