Family farms one of many concerns uniting us against Trump’s trade threats: Don Pittis – June 18, 2018
One of the best CBC articles I read in a very long time, where instead of playing politics and choosing sides the writer Don Pittis explain to the reader where a lot of this economic thinking we take for granted came from. You can read the article by clicking the link below:
Personally, As I’ve stated for years my economic thinking is rooted in Libertarianism, however, I believe in freedom of thought I also believe that all people have I right to view the world the way they wish, with that said in Canada we have a heavily government regulated existence, so if this the path Canadians want to take I still expect the media to explain arguments from all political sides, our children shouldn’t be forced to have linear way of thinking.
I make sure that the people reading my articles understand that there’s more than one way to govern, just because I have my personal beliefs on how I think things should be doesn’t mean that you should be forced to agree with me or be forced to swallow my rhetoric because of the current government or current trendy thinking of modern day. It’s the civilized debates that allow us a society to move forward.
We should always as a society know where our wealth is derived, so if we as a society want to use the force of government to change the economy we should still be aware of how the wealth was created in the first place, so in the event we as a society are faced with Donald Trump type character we’ll easily be able to interpret what he’s trying to accomplish, thus making our economy flexible and able to adapt to any change.
Dealing with Trump in my opinion is easy, not only is it easy but we as Canadians need to also understand our current economic position, we are in debt, a large number of working, middle Canadians are dependant on financial institutions to survive, what this means in simple terms is that during this time we may want to consider making concessions to Trump even if they’re temporary.
In this instance, I’d like to say thank you to Don Pittis for writing a great article.
Interesting times ahead
