Ontario VOTERS have a long history of voting for Far Left Socialists to represent them locally; prior to Justin Trudeau becoming Prime Minister, INFLATION problems, which can also be seen as putting restraints on LOCAL government spending, weren’t as problematic.
The problem most far-left socialists are having in Ontario, in particular, is that they’re all running into fiscal shortfalls, and Left-wingers aren’t known for BALANCING the budget.
Imagine having PROMISING voters you’ll spend money you don’t have, imagining that if you run into a shortfall, you can ask the higher levels of government to bail you out, only to find out that the Federal government spent all the money.
One of the methods Justin Trudeau is using to PUNISH voters in provinces that voted for Conservative Premiers is to raise CARBON TAXES. For Trudeau, it’s smart politics because he imagined that PREMIERS would be blamed for the financial problems he caused.
However, things aren’t playing out that way; Trudeau’s poll numbers, at least so far, continue to fall, so of course, the mainstream media all over Canada have been using their bully pulpit in an attempt to SHIFT the blame on Premiers.

Published Jul 10, 2023 • Last updated Jul 10, 2023OTTAWA — Another 21,000 federal workers hired since last year has brought the total added to the federal public service since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was first elected to 98,268, according to information published online by the Treasury Board of Canada.
The federal public service, now at 357,247 employees, is nearly 40 per cent larger than it was in 2015, when the Liberals took power, when it counted 257,034 employees.
I can’t speak for the future, but currently, this strategy is backfiring. Elizabeth Roy similar to most far-left mayors in Canada promises all sorts of things to voters, that’s their SCHTICK, and as an Ontarian, I’ve gotten used to it; the problem these far-left mayors are having in 2024 is that Trudeau is 100% reliant on DEFICIT spending, you have to remember Trudeau’s carbon tax is NOT generating POSITIVE revenue, and Trudeau is also VOTE buying by sending cheques to Canadians, in hopes that they’ll vote for him 2025.
Justin Trudeau continues to spend without generating revenue, and this puts Canada’s CENTRAL BANK in a tough spot. I’m not saying the Bank of Canada won’t lower interest rates this year, but what I am saying is that Canada’s FEDERAL Government is STRUGGLING to attract and RETAIN Capital in Canada, meaning that lowering interest rates will equate to Canada’s government likely WASTING more money on INIATIVES, not producing ANY positive cashflow.
Now, if you know anything about BUDGETING, if you’re fiscal position is CASHFLOW negative, that’s when you LIMIT fiscal spending, which is what most Conservatives Premiers are doing in Canada; however, far left Mayors like Elizabeth Roy; imagine the world similar to how Justin Trudeau imagines the world “Budgets balance themselves.”
Listening to Elizabeth Roy and reading articles from Canada’s mainstream media attempting to defend Elizabeth Roy for spending not only money she doesn’t have but capital her fiscal policies fail to attract shows you the CHILDISH and immature place Canada’s political and media class has embraced in 2024. We’re in an era in which it’s becoming apparent that Canada’s political class, especially those on the Left, are behaving like CHILDREN.
