Farmers demand strong political response to expanding trade obstacles for Canada, Canada to announce retaliatory tariffs on more U.S. products – April 10, 2019,
As I’ve stated many times over, things are going to get really bad for Canada before they get better. The mistake Liberal supporters made by making Justin Trudeau the Prime Minister is Justin Trudeau’s ignorance about the importance of economics. When Justin Trudeau ran for Prime Minister even the mainstream media acknowledged that Justin Trudeau’s weakness was economics.
In America, a U.S President can get away with being ignorant of economics, Canada on the other as a bland country, economics should be the Prime Ministers specialty. The best economic policies at the end of the day are flexible economic policies and unfortunately for Canadians, Justin Trudeau grew the deficit while at the same time increasing the size of government while pushing a social justice agenda. This is all very bad economics and we in Canada are going to pay for it.
The cracks have been forming for month’s now, but summertime is nearing and it will be interesting to see how Canada does in the coming month’s. It should be noted that what Justin Trudeau’s cabinet is trying to do, has been tried in the past in many different countries, it might be new to Canada, the technologies might be newer but their policies and their ignorance on economic issues, this is common, what’s uncommon and what makes this situation different are debt levels. You see when people are in debt, they’d rather not speak of it.
The belief when you’re indebted is that you’re going to strike it rich somehow, you don’t know how or when, but you’ll strike it rich and this way of thinking typically fuels the indebted slave to believe that the government or some mystical figure or figures will deliver them from pain and suffering. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Justin Trudeau won the upcoming election, but unfortunately, the really sad truth is, if Justin loses, the economic crash will more than likely fall in Andrew Scheer’s lap.
Similar to Brian Mulroney Conservatives will be left cleaning up the disasters created by Trudeau! I’d prefer that not happen, I’d much rather see the Liberal Party’s reign of terror come to an end, but I’m not God, nor do I claim to be, so I’ll patiently wait to see how this entire thing unfolds.
My prediction as it stands now is that Justin Trudeau wins the upcoming election, he wins a minority government, and for the first time in his political career, he’ll be forced into a position where he has to negotiate and barter. What’s worse for Justin Trudeau in this upcoming election is my belief that the NDP will lose seats and most Leftist in Canada will vote for Trudeau fearing that a vote for Singh will be useless, this to me good make things very interesting for the People’s Party of Canada, who oddly enough might get between 2 -10% of the votes. Oh, that’s nothing you say? Well if the Conservatives and the Liberals go neck and neck, Maxime Bernier’s Peoples Party of Canada may, in fact, play spoiler.
There’s always been a myth spread by Conservatives not to split the vote, unfortunately that’s always been the wrong approach, the NDP has always been splitting Liberal votes and guess what, because of their vote-splitting a large segment of the Canadian population is Progressive, so much so that the Conservatives at one point changed their name to the Progressive Conservatives. That’s the power of splitting the vote. Oddly enough I think this will make for interesting politics in 2019.
I don’t think Justin Trudeau understands what a recession is or what it feels like, it’s hard for a trust fund baby to comprehend a contraction of the money supply, the real problem the Liberals will face in 2019 is if they lose, serious house cleaning will be necessary. If Justin Trudeau loses the 2019 election it could be decades before another Liberal is trusted as Prime Minister, but this isn’t necessarily a good thing for Andrew Scheers Conservatives either. if the Conservatives win the upcoming election, the economic collapse will happen under their watch, what will be interesting from my perspective is the role of the NDP and the People’s Party of Canada when the collapse does occur.
Why I’d prefer the collapse happen under Trudeau is that I’d like Canadians to see and feel what Liberal policies feel like when there’s an economic collapse, but hey sometimes God has other plans. The stories I point too in this article give you a glimpse into the future and also explain to you that even the private sectors in Canada are so used to Government handouts that if Canada became a free market, a lot of people in Canadian agriculture would probably fail. This is the problem with Personal and Corporate Welfare, once people and business become dependent on government protections, they have a hard time functioning without it.
Part of the reason countries like Germany does a lot of manufacturing revolves around the unexpected, you know, like a communist dictatorship like China behaving like a communist dictatorship. You see when the government isn’t protecting you and your business, you tend to build your business differently. it’s not to say that you won’t take advantage of international markets, but you’d instead fight for things like higher interest rates and a stronger Loonie, so when things like this happen you can live off of your interest and use your strong purchasing power afforded to you by a strong Loonie, to purchase, property plant and equipment, sometimes from the same countries that are putting tariffs on you.
You see as a business, similar to owning a stock, sometimes it’s smarter to own a piece of your competition and it’s great when you can buy your competition on the cheap. It’s hard for people who fight for a lower loonie and lower central bank interest rates to comprehend what I’m writing about here, most likely because they’ve opted for Government handouts and debt.
Interesting times ahead.
