In Your Face FASCISM: YouTube suspends Dr. Rand Paul for seven days For Disobeying The Covid-19 Narrative Promoted By The Corporatist and Political Elites – August 11, 2021,
If you’ve been following Dr. Rand Paul on Youtube, you would have known he had been warning his followers to follow him on rumble because Youtube was threatening to shut him down, for his views of the government’s handling of COVID-19.
So it comes as no surprise to me that Dr. Rand Paul was suspended on Youtube and will more than likely be banned in the very near future. You can listen to Dr. Rand Paul for yourself on Rumble, to hear his side of the story. Youtube initially wasn’t designed for political discussion, it was more entertainment-based, but where I have the problem with Youtube is its clear bias towards the political and corporatist elites.
Youtube is behaving like a fascist organization and this should open it up to lawsuits. I personally believe that Youtube can ban whatever it wants, but if it opts to operate in that manner, then it should make it clear that it’s strictly an entertainment-based service and will delete any voice it deems harmful to its brand.
As an example when I watch Netflix, I expect to be entertained, I expect conspiracy theories, I expect bias because Netflix presents itself as an entertainment source. Youtube, on the other hand, has a section titled “News and Politics” in which any YouTuber can promote their “News” and “Political” views.
I propose Youtube deletes this section altogether as this would prevent YouTube from involving itself in overt Fascism. My personal views regarding Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc. is that they weren’t designed to be in politics, in fact, I blame Donald Trump for this mess because in the heights of Donald Trump’s powers he chose to remain on Twitter and YouTube when those periods were probably the best time for him to opt-out.
For some strange reason, all of a sudden Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook are defacto digital arms of the State, politicians want to get the word out and if you pay close attention to the modern politician they’ll tell you to follow them on a social media? How hard is it to create your own website?
Why is it so hard for Conservatives to have their own thing, all of this free promotion politicians are giving to platforms like Youtube, Twitter and Facebook is clearly backfiring, why keep doing it? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is INSANE!
Social media isn’t helping the Left or the Right it’s helping to prop up social media and as I stated, I personally think the “News and Politics” section of Youtube should be abolished, I don’t think politics should be allowed on any social media platform if said social media platform is going to pick winners and losers.
