Foreign Entanglements: Donald Trump backs Hong Kong, approves arms sales to Taiwan, Can China Retaliate? – November 28, 2019,

So, Foreign intervention I’ve always been on the fence with this debate, Libertarians say stay out of foreign entanglements, the Neo-Conservatives who by the way are typically Christians disagree with that and the evidence seems to suggest that the Neo-Conservatives have a valid point to intervene especially when the people in question have high Western values IQ’s. Hong Kong is a result of British invasions, British colonialism, had the Britsh never stepped foot in Hong Kong it’s unlikely the People of Hong Kong would be ever fighting for Democracy.

Hong Kong has not only gotten a taste of Democracy, but they’ve also got a taste of free-market capitalism without a central governing body. The U.K, for the most part, stays out of Hong Kong politics and being that East Asians have a long storied history with bartering, Chinese whether it be the people of Hong Kong, Taiwan or Mainland China when given the opportunity as a people flourish in some of the worlds worst conditions.

The problem with a big government is the culture it creates with the people, culture is key, if you talk to most Black people, they’re fairly nice, however there’s a culture within the black culture that makes many black people who would like to stand up for freedom the way Candace Owens or Ben Carsons demonized. How dare you challenge the collective orthodox culture that exists, many black people who have been indoctrinated by a damaging subculture, get back down here and act the way the rest of us act, stop acting like you’re white!

In a nutshell, this is what many Chinese people in mainland China are going through also, a lot of people in Mainland China are fully aware that the Chinese Communist Party is no good for China, but there’s little to nothing they feel they can do, because remember if you speak out against the collective, and you no revolution is sparked, you lose your life for almost nothing, furthermore you could compromise the lives of your family members by speaking out against any tyrannical government.

This culture also exists in many Muslim nations, Iran as example, you’d be foolish to assume that all Iranians chant death to America when they go to bed at night, some Iranians even have close family members that they believe died because of the U.S, who still don’t hold the U.S responsible for the tyrannical Iranian government, however the question still would remain, should Ameria intervene in Iran? Well, I would say no, because nobody knows if there is overwhelming support to end the Iranian regime. When Hilary Clinton gave the okay to have Muammar Gaddafi killed, most people knew this was a bad idea, because Libya wasn’t exactly a financial powerhouse open to Western values.

Hong Kong on the other hand clearly is ready to embrace Western values because they’ve been practicing it for decades. So you see, for someone like me, different situations call for different approaches.

Now, make no mistake about it, this is Trump involving America in foreign entanglements, but n my opinion, this was Donald Trump merely making a business decision. Trump and China are engaging in trade talks and both Taiwan and Hong Kong don’t want to be a part of China. The investor in me says, this was a genius move by Trump, the politician in me says, Trump isn’t a dictator and eventually, America will vote an economic moron into the white house. The problem with Trump is that he’s a rare person, God doesn’t make people like Donald Trump every day and Trump’s negotiation tactics actually go far beyond him being a billionaire, it’s the type of billionaire Trump is that allows him to see things other people can not.

Michael Bloomberg as an example is a billionaire politician who’s made a lot more money than Donald Trump could ever imagine, the difference is Bloomberg made money basically moving papers around as an investment banker, whereas Donald Trump made his wealth by creating real estate value where none was there prior. A lot of legal stuff goes into the building of major developments like hotels and until you’ve been in bankruptcy courts or owed billions of dollars in loans while at the same time being a target for the media for most of your life, chances are you’re not going to be able to see people and situations for what they are and not what you imagine them to be.

Until most people go to a police station or have to deal with the legal system, they won’t understand how inefficient the government is. It’s not to say the government is unnecessary, my argument is that when you’re face to face with judges, lawyers, bankers, and investors who are all pressuring you to give them results, you’re not going to be able to grasp the human element of the world we live in. It’s all about fostering relationships at the end of the day and if one person or one group is hostile to you, do you as an individual give yourself the liberty to pivot to a more favorable situation? Most politicians under pressure will fold, whereas Trump basically has been begging China to sign a deal, China has said no repeatedly and now Trump basically upped the ante.

Now, if you’re not good at bartering, what Trump has done here will fly over your head, can China retaliate? of course, it can, but no offense to China, yes they have stockpiles of rare earth materials, but let’s not forget theyChina) for the most part have cheated to get to where they are today economically. Now, sure you can make the puritan Libertarian argument that empire known as America is playing with fire, but truth be told, non-intervention kind of led to the rise of Hitler.

China to me looks a lot like a Fascist State if you ask me, yes the Chinese Communist Party rules over China, but looking at the structure of the government, they look fascists, why I think most people don’t want to call China Fascists is that a lot of Western nations have been merging their Private Sectors with their governments. China has not only been doing this, but China has also been building up its military. The Western Socialists, on the other hand, have been shrinking the size of their militaries and this is basically why Donald Trump when you look at his totality is a very novel figure, that is challenging old ideas.

I’ve read some of Donald Trump’s books and the summary I leave with when I read his books is his attitude ultimately is “to the victor go the spoils”. The world is a messy place and America needs proper leadership, make a decision and live with the decision, I think this is part of the reason Trump raised some great kids even though he’s been married three different times.

I don’t really think China wants to retaliate because they have more to lose, as big as the Chinese military is, they haven’t been tested, it’s not saying they can’t do any damage or even win a war against the United States, it’s just that managing people isn’t as easy a tasked as people think and Americans are armed and similar to Russia the most war-ready patriotic group of people on this planet. They also have more to fight for than do the Chinese.

The Chinese Communist Party have forced themselves into a position in which they must look strong amongst the people in Mainland China, they must keep the people brainwashed, because if the mainland Chinese people are able to imagine life without the Chinese Communist Party? Well, they might join their brothers and sisters in Taiwan and Hong Kong in protest. Now, it’s unlikely the U.S wants to intervene in Mainland China, but Taiwan and Hong Kong people know what freedom tastes like, by Trump giving them the nod, the Chinese Communist Party now has to engage in more propaganda on its people and everything eventually reaches a boiling point, because the people in Mainland China, people who support the CCP are convinced that their way of living is the correct way.

If the CCP can’t shelter Mainland China both socially and economically from what’s happening in Taiwan and Hong Kong because now they have support from the U.S in the form of rotating tariffs, well I would say at least on the surface, Trump made a genius chess move. Arms sales to Taiwan? its only business Trump can argue, I personally like the move, however, I will observe China’s response. They can respond, they have the ability, the problem is a lot of what China does can be done by another country, like Vietnam for example, I remind the reader that China cheated to get where they are now, it’s not to say China wouldn’t dominate textiles for example, but technology, namely stolen technology, yea, if China was playing by the rules, this world economy would look very different.
