Free Secured Credit Card Myth
There is no such thing as far as I know as a Free Secured Credit Card. A free secured credit card would either be a pay as you go credit card or an unsecured credit card. In the event there is an offer for a free secured credit card it’s a good idea to make sure you read about the card before applying and also make sure you read up about the site. I don’t recommend giving out personal information to fraudulent credit card websites.
Pay As You Go Credit Cards & Gift Credit Cards.
This is about as close as you will come to a free credit credit card the difference with this credit card is that you pay as you go credit cards and gift card credit cards do not report to any major credit bureaus. Also there are allot of fees associated with these credit cards and personally i don’t recommend them. There are still plenty of places that don’t even except them. Pay as you go credit cards to me only have purpose if you can’t open a bank account.
Unsecured Credit Cards
An unsecured credit card could also be considered a free secured credit card. But in case you didn’t know an unsecured credit card is free you only have to apply for it. Secured credit card means you have to put a deposit of money into the card before you can use it. So if the lender says we will give a $300 credit limit it’s your job to come up with the $300. Then once they receive your $300 the will send you your secured credit card.
