I’m glad I grew up Protestant: Pope Francis says the coronavirus pandemic has proven that the “magic theories” of market capitalism have failed – October 4, 2020,

The first thing I’d like to say regarding Pope Francis’s statement is that just like Socialists don’t like to be lumped together as the same group, we capitalists are the same. National Socialism is a form of Socialism, there’s no getting around it, National Socialism is a Leftist ideal, there’s nothing right-wing about Racism, we on the right care nothing about racism, are pursuit revolves around the accumulation of property, something the Roman Catholic church is quite familiar with.

From my perspective, the only thing the coronavirus pandemic has proved is that totalitarians are all over democratic politics and if we free human beings don’t stand up for ourselves these wannabe authoritarians will turn us into slaves!

I admire the Swiss model of governance in which Switzerland is essentially a nation within nations, their municipal centered political system is anti-authoritarian threw and threw and one of the reasons I believe this happened has to do with people of power having bad ideas without checks and balances.

Now, one of the reasons I reject the IQ debate when it comes to a civilized society is because most of the nations that revolve around Catholicism don’t do as well economically as Protestant centered nations. Argentina as an example per capita has more white people than Canada and America, but yet economically they don’t do as well, why is that? Poland or Ireland some brilliant minds come from Ireland, but what’s really holding the Irish back? Is it the British?

I argue it has to do with Catholicism and this concept that a man or a group of men are looked upon as almost Godly. It wouldn’t surprise me in this modern era if Women demand that a woman be the next head of the Catholic Church? The Pope in his statement attempts to take the individuals out of his equation for poverty.

My theory for why MOST people are stricken with poverty as do to with how they think. Financial education in the school system would help out a lot of people on this planet, financial education would change how the world is governed, financial education would bring people together, financial education would help to uplift the individual from squalor, financial education would demystify poverty, financial education would also expose Socialists for the charlatans that they are.

If more people had financial education, especially in this technologically advanced society, what it equates to is economic deflation and what economic deflation does is that it exposes the incompetence of people. deflation exposes incompetent leadership, financial education alongside deflation shines a light on a person’s ignorance and insecurities.

The fear most people have about market capitalist is the market component, a market economy is a freedom and despite what many people think, in a market economy, the rich don’t get richer, the poor get richer. Big companies or even religions don’t go bankrupt anymore, Latin America, for the most part, is Catholic, Latin America in many ways is more dangerous than Africa!

Of course, the religion in all of this is ignored, the problems according to the Pope stem from ‘market capitalism’. It’s always convenient to blame something external, blaming capitalism is easy, it’s trendy, but blaming the religion is preposterous, right?

Now, IQ-wise most Catholics are as smart as Protestants, but when it comes to governing themselves, Catholics are accustomed to a few individuals having total authority, particularly SYMBOLIC groups of individuals being above the law. I personally believe this habit of Catholics stems from their religious beliefs.

It plays itself out in Mexican cartels as an example, the propping up of individuals for everyone to rally around until their death! This concept of dedicating your life to a man who is above you never existed in the protestant churches I attended.

Not to say the protestant churches I attended were perfect, far from it, but I never felt like the pastor at my church was better than me, in fact, his messages to me revolved around discovering my individuality. What Christ represented to me was found in scripture that I would discover for myself and if I wanted to challenge the authority of the man on the pulpit I’d have to study the Bible, which I had abundantly at my disposal! There are many denominations of Christianity for a reason, it’s a market-based religion.

I and another person can read the exact same King James Bible and come to similar but different positive and productive realizations, which is a sign of a great book.

Pope Francis via market capitalism has the freedom to say whatever he wants, the National and the Democratic Socialists all want you to be forced to think the way they think. It’s not that market-capitalism is perfect, it’s just that it’s better than anything else available.

Pope Francis attempts to give a glimpse of what I assume he believes are solutions to market capitalism, but as per usual he calls on his belief that current political and economic institutions must be reformed, which for many of us is the problem. I think change starts at the grassroots, not at the top!

I brought up Switzerland, primarily because their form of governance is in many ways municipal democracies competing with each other. In Switzerland, some Cantons/Municipalities have socialist ideas, but the evidence suggests in Switzerland that as an example a Wealth Tax in practice has the opposite effect some Swiss municipal governments thought it would have.

Now, I’m not saying Switzerland is perfect and who knows, maybe in the future, they might change how they govern themselves, but their system is a glimpse into a free humans behavior when faced with top-down rules. The results in Switzerland speak for themselves, no one person has all the answers, what’s good for you may not be good for me, a big federal government is a burden on society, humans prefer nimble and mobility and every form of human government control has a flaw to it.

I conclude that when millions of people are forced to obey a man or woman parading around as Godly, the humans under the said system will lash out NEGATIVELY in some way shape, or form! God made us to be free not to be a slave to another mans restrictive ideals.

Ideas or governance that doesn’t revolve around freedom and liberty are ideas that always need to be challenged, freedom is always challenged, socialism or religious rule must also be challenged too. The separation of church and State comes from the very basic concept that none of us have all the answers! But a market economy, a market system is sustained by VOLUNTARY transactions.

Just because some people think and plan further ahead than others doesn’t mean that they should be punished! The protestants left the Catholics because the Catholics wanted the final say in everything! I reject the notion that any man or woman on this planet is above another. Live Free or Die!
