There are more female government workers than there are male, and one of the reasons it appears to me anyway, why women love government jobs are their perks. Men tend to not like government jobs, too much bureaucracy, too much wasteful spending, when real men that actually had to work with their hands see what men in government do, they often look at government workers as parasites. Women on the other hand, see service sector jobs as a whole as the future of the world. Let me clarify that not all women see the world this way, but a fast majority of them do.
Women make up a large chunk of government workers, in Ontario with a few exceptions like the police force for example, women dominate government positions. Think our passport office, your health card office, your driver’s license office, do you see more men or more women? On the higher levels of government, there are lots of women in these positions and women tend to put greater emphasis on how they feel. If they feel they’re deserving of something they’ll opt for it. Furthermore when it comes to government it’s important that lowly tax payers know that these government workers really do feel like they’ve earned their perks.
As government grows, it’s important to know that people within an inner circle behave the same way an inner circle will behave, they’ll instinctively put their own interests first. The difference with government jobs is that these public service workers are just that, public service workers and if they’re not effective with the money taxpayers send them they should be fired. But, you see that’s where things get complicated, most politicians, most I should say political leaders have never run a business, most politicians see tax dollars as an infinite supply of wealth, most politicians know if they fire other government workers, they’ll be personal consequences and that’s why, I’m not buying the whole story of Conservatives are a better option. The best option in my book is an economic collapse.
The only way to wake up Canadians to what’s really happening behind the scenes is an economic collapse, when that happens, when public servants can’t get paid, when entitlements aren’t fulfilled that’s when people will realise what’s really happening. Recently in the eastern provinces old age pensioners weren’t getting their checks that’s when they started complaining and that’s how this world works ladies and gentlemen
I’m sorry Canada, if that’s economy doesn’t crash, things will only get worse, most Canadians are too busy with their own lives to see what’s happening in politics today. Quite frankly this “Global travel, sky-high dining and office massages” scandal will be forgotten by most in the next week, replaced with another government scandal. This nonsense ends when the credit market tightens and the collapse occurs. When people don’t have money and the government demands more money from taxpayers, that’s when the awakening will occur. Until then I see more of the same, more people becoming poorer and more credit being issued. When the gravy train ends, the government party will end.
Interesting times ahead.
