Indigenous artists mourn possible cuts to culture fund under review by PCs – CBC – December 15, 2018,

Now, to start I get it, Provincial and Federal cuts are two different things, however, I don’t think it’s a good idea for Doug Ford’s PC’s to cut anything related to Indigenous artists as based on my research this is the one area that government may want to consider embracing. Now, if you’re like me and your family immigrated to Canada, it’s important for you to understand that they, the Indigenous, the First Nations, the Natives were on this land first, regardless of what you think about their culture they were here first and we disrupted their way of life.

Now, obviously, history is littered with realities of invading nations wiping out the Indigenous populations, almost every country Islamists and communist have conquered they’ve tried to basically wipe out the Indigenous populations, sometimes successfully, capitalist countries, on the other hand, have taken a different approach, often trying to buy out the Indigenous populations with bribes and perks, my research has shown me that this hasn’t worked either, in America as an example welfare for their Indigenous has resulted substance abuse and single-parent homes and poverty. With that said what has worked is artistry or allowing a people who believe their being oppressed to express themselves artistically.

African American’s are a prime example of how artistry at the very least can give a people who feel oppressed some glimmer of hope Black Americans and even Indigenous Americans if you do the research seem to gravitate around artistic works which often allows them to start asking questions or inquiring about the host society. This allows dialogue to form and it also typically leads to a large number of people’s to start doing their own research and getting involved in trying to find solutions to their type of poverty.

What doesn’t work is trying to force Indigenous people to assimilate, often times their cultural IQ won’t allow them to even consider that anything the nation that conquered their ancestors says or does is in anyway shape or form is in anyway helpful to them. This is often the reason why a lot of African Americans are so hostile to European Americans, this was even the case for years in Ireland. The best way to allow people to vent their frustrations is via art, whether it’s music, drawing, speaking, poetry whatever it is, allow the Indigenous of Canada to express themselves.

I actually think that if allowed to blossom, Indigenous is can in time become a very profitable business for our Indigenous, first nation people. If Doug Ford is going to make any cutbacks he should be a man and tell old stock Canadians as well as the people who recently immigrated here that the welfare gravy train is coming to an end. This has always been my problem with the Conservative, it’s their Progression into becoming Liberals, they do this every single time, there are enough working Canadians that know the problem in Canada is these generational welfare recipients that aren’t Indigenous or First Nation peoples.

I live in Toronto and just being honest there are 3 groups of people I see on welfare the most, 1st is Muslims, second are Blacks and third are Whites, the real problem in all of this, if you ask me, are the white people on welfare, because they’re the ones creating the incentives for the government to import more problems into this country. For all you white supremacists out there, it’s people with white skin causing this mess, Trudeau is a white man, Kathleen Wynne is a white woman, Andrea Horwath is a white woman, Chrystia Freeland is a white woman, Stephen Poloz is a white man all of these white people pushing for more welfare are the ones creating this mess.

If you immigrate to Canada, you shouldn’t be sucking our countries resources dry, the Indigenous problem we have in Canada should be getting more attention than anything. I’ve written about this several times, why are we bringing war-torn immigrants here when we haven’t even solved our Indigenous problems? As an example, a lot of Muslims have immigrated to Canada and the first thing many of them have done is, they’ve gotten involved in the political system often requesting special perks that aren’t even available to Canada’s Indigenous population.

There was even an Islamaphobia bill that many Liberals and Leftists alike tried to get passed into law. Excuse me Canada we have an Indigenous problem that we have yet to solve. $5 million cut? Didn’t Trudeau just give $50 million taxpayer dollars to some South African cause, sure these are two different levels of Government, but this is what happens when Canadians don’t look out for our own needs first?

I’m of the belief that Art is a great way to help people who feel oppressed to express themselves. when these people often realize that they make money for their art, they’ll typically begin to do their own independent research into why they’re feeling oppressed. In Canada we have 24/7 electricity, we have an abundance of food, we have the capacity to provide shelter for all people, we have roads, planes, multiple methods of communication, we’re doing quite well, the real problem is that in many Canadians minds they’re in poverty, they’re victims, they’re being victimized, they feel like racists are controlling them. The great thing about art is the subjectivity in it, what has no value to one person may yield a lot of value to another person.

In America, look what Black Americans have done with music? They’ve turned it into a trillion dollar industry, now many of us hate the negativity in the music, but it does keep a lot of black Americans busy, violent crimes in America have actually decreased since hip-hop, sure if you watch or listen to the news all the time you’d think otherwise, but it’s the truth, this is not to say that White Americans are happily walking into black or Latino communities but the numbers and the stats don’t lie.

We, the privileged Canadians who have our cultural identities intact need to look at our own welfare spending and our own social stability because we’re importing problems before fixing our own internal problems first. My independent research has shown me that if you want curb criminality amongst people who feel oppressed, you need to allow them a space to express themselves if you haven’t paid attention you may want to research what happens to many minorities who go to Art schools.

As privileged Canadians, we need to start making financial cutbacks on ourselves, we’re the problem, we those of us who want the government to protect our industries, create social safety nets, higher minimum wages, and other frivolous regulations, because what we’re doing is we’re attracting lazy and dependent people into our country. We have a First Nations problem and personally, I think art is a great way for them to vent their frustrations if you’ve ever worked AS AN UNPAID VOLUNTEER for the community, you’ll quickly realize that what youth who feel disenfranchised really want is a place where they feel like their talents can be embraced.

This is not something that you simply throw money at, it’s something that would require careful study and we can’t do the necessary research on solving our First Nations problems because most of our resources are being used to house economic migrants, Islamaphobia, paying off Omar Khadar and incentivizing single people have lots of babies by increasing welfare payments. I seriously hope current Ontario Premier Doug Ford reconsiders his position on cutting funding to Indigenous art. You can read the crown corporate CBC article below.
