Iranian Censorship: Foreign Minister Claims Israeli Terrorism as Justification for Iran’s Internal Crackdown (January 14, 2026)

Iranian Censorship and Manufactured Victimhood

Censorship Makes Truth Irrelevant

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accuses Israeli Mossad agents of provoking violence inside Iran. Let’s say I accept Abbas Araghchi’s response as fact. To be clear, from my perspective, it does not even matter whether it is true. The real problem is that he is censoring his own people by shutting off the internet. That means we cannot know the truth, which makes the entire argument meaningless for most people.

Actions Have Consequences

If Iran fires hundreds of rockets at Israel and Israel responds by unleashing covert operations inside Iran, as an outsider, I do not care. I am not bothering my neighbors about it. Actions have repercussions. Do not start a war with a nation and then play the victim. I do not care, and most people do not care.

What Americans Actually Care About

What Americans might care about is starting a war with Iran. Boots on the ground in Iran is clearly not popular with American voters, and that is an entirely different topic. Yet I keep hearing wacko conspiracy theorists trying to romanticize the idea that Israel is behind everything. Again, who cares?

Israel Has the Right to Defend Itself

As a Christian, I know my God is the greatest of Gods. Still, people keep treating Israel as if it is supposed to sit back and do nothing when attacked. That is absurd. If I had the means, I would do everything in my power to protect my people.

The Iranian Threat and Persian History

If you are an American, your only real concern should be whether you want to get involved in a conflict with Iran. Personally, I would like to see the Iranian threat neutralized. I have Iranian friends who are secular, and quite frankly, I wish they would abandon Islam and become Christians. The Persian people have an extraordinary history that has been damaged by Islam.

Forced Conversion and Censorship

Persia predates both Islam and Christianity. It makes no sense to settle for a belief system built on forced conversion and censorship. That alone should concern anyone who values freedom.

This Is Not About Blind Loyalty

Let me be clear about something on this blog. My position is not simply about my love for Israel. As a Christian, I would hold this position even if I were an atheist. I do not harass my neighbors because there are consequences. If someone murdered my family or friends, I do not know what I would do. I do not even know what kind of person I might become.

Christian Restraint and Moral Limits

I pray every day that I remain a Christian, and I try not to judge others because I am not in their position. Yeshua left a commandment that guides my thinking, His second commandment.

Mark 12:31 (KJV)
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Jesus and the Difference Between Covenants

Love thy neighbour. People underestimate my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and try to minimize His impact, even though He spoke in parables with deep moral authority. The commandments of Moses do not command loving thy neighbour as thyself. Because of that, I cannot expect an Old Testament Jew to approach life the way I do as a Christian.

The Human Story of Ancient Peoples

The Jews and the Persians appear in the Old Testament of my Bible, and they reveal the deeply human side of civilization. Their histories show both greatness and failure.

Why Ancient Civilizations Reject Modern Ideologies

The Persians and the Jews are great people. Communism does not suit ancient civilizations. I have said this before, even regarding China. These cultures need Christ. Christ died for them. They only need to recognize His love.

Playing the Victim Does Not Work

With that said, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is trying to play the victim, and it comes across as pathetic.

A Simple Rule About Conflict

There is a hip hop lyric I used to like: “Don’t start no mess, won’t be no mess.” I do not even remember the song exactly, and I am not one of the cool kids, but the message stuck because it makes sense.

A Call to End Meaningless Wars

Come home to Christ and end these pointless wars.

Consider making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior today.
