The current Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, is Prime Minister not because he accumulated the most votes (Justin Trudeau lost the popular vote in the last election), he’s Prime Minister because of Jagmeet Singh, who, at best, one could argue is not a true leader.
One of the reasons the New Democratic Party(NDP) exists is because the Liberal Party of Canada is known for its corruption; in fact, Justin Trudeau’s father, Pierre Trudeau, was thought to be a little to friendly or with Fidel Castro, many considered Pierre Trudeau treasonous as he similar to his son was very divisive.
Jack Layton, the former leader of the New Democratic Party, pulled the plug on the last CORRUPT, treasonous Liberal government, even though he and his party received no benefit from it.
Why did Jack Layton do this? Because he knew what was happening in Canada, he would be INEVITABLE on his watch if he didn’t. There’s this MYTH most socialists have that the PUBLIC SECTOR eventually should REPLACE the private sector.
Jack Layton understood in order to get people on board with his socialist concept, he had to show Canadians why the Public Sector is better suited to handle everything including the economy; Jagmeet Singh, on the flip side, is shortsighted, similar to a child, which is why he turned the NDP into a Party that really doesn’t stand for anything.
Jagmeet Singh doesn’t appear to care how corrupt the Liberal Party of Canada is; some argue he’s making sure he gets his pension, and others argue that this is his strategy to support away from the liberals. However, the polling data suggests the Liberals are still more popular than the NDP.
Most people on the Left in Canada merely want Justin Trudeau replaced by someone more likable. Unfortunately, that person hasn’t arrived, and Jagmeet has destroyed his credibility with independent voters, who are obviously looking for an independent-minded Prime Minister.
