Come on Jagmeet Singh, really?: Rideau Hall Intruder’s Peaceful Arrest Shows Systemic Racism In Policing according to Jagmeet – July 8, 2020,
Jagmeet Singh is fully embracing Identity politics and it’s really ugly to read. I don’t know if Jagmeet Singh understands the difference between Public and Private Sector workers, but the police who in my opinion in Canada have done a fantastic under attack by Jagmeet Singh and he’s not been Prime Minister yet.
Public sector workers tend to almost vote as a Bloc, Justin Trudeau is our Prime Minister because of Public Sector unions and politically I’m not entirely sure what Jagmeet Singh hopes to accomplish by trying to make seem like it’s America when it’s clearly not.
I live in Toronto, and I grew up in one of the rougher neighborhoods in Toronto and growing up here, we as youths thought Canada was a little soft, in that the cops, for the most part, were pretty cool. I’ve seen black and South Asian people smoking weed, getting caught by the cops as the cops patrolled the school and the WHITE cops would let them off with a warning.
White kids typically were the ones made examples of by law enforcement, because lets be honest, white people can’t cry racism when a cop roughs them up. White people won’t even mention it, in fact as a teen, one of my friends who was white got roughed up by cops and he was afraid to tell his mom, because she would have sided with the cop.
In case Jagmeet Singh doesn’t know, any high profile case, law enforcement and the public sector, in general, will be extra gentile, think Omar Khadr.
Anything high profile eyes are watching everywhere and the legal counsel representing the defendant is looking for anything to get their client off. That’s how things are in the grown-up world. This rant by Jagmeet Singh in hopes to prop himself up politically, I’m not sure what to make of it. I assume the tactics employed by Jagmeet Singh might work, who knows, but it’s very ugly to observe.
Interesting times ahead!
