Jeff Bezos Got Out At The Right Time: German union calls four-day strike at Amazon sites ahead of Easter – March 28, 2021

I personally think it’s inevitable at this point that Labor Unions will be formed at Amazons all over the world. What separates Germany from other Western Nations is Germanys’ attention to education. In Germany, unlike countries like the U.K, Canada, The United States, and Australia, Germans prepare their children for the real world, by that I mean the skilled trades are very important to the German education system whereas, in the rest of the Western World, the teachers via their public teachers’ unions tend to prepare students to go to Universities, assuming that a one size fits all higher education model is the best option.

Although a college education is better than no education, the fact still remains that without tradespeople you have no DEVELOPED country. I bring this up primarily because German labor unions tend to outperform other developed nations because German Workers via their trades based education model tends to equate to a higher IQ labor market, meaning that it’s easier for employers to train German workers than it is in countries like the U.K, Canada, Australia, the United States, France, etc.

With that said, from the very beginning Amazon was built on pushing their workers to the max and I personally always thought this would invite labor union culture which has been very destructive to North American manufacturing.

People tend to forget why American-made cars have so many parts imported outside of America, which leads to an overall inferior product for the consumer. It’s because of Labor Unions, who not only artificially jacked up the price of labor but also helped to regulate North American manufacturing out of existence.

It’s never been the case that the Japanese made better cars, if you simply watch the timeline, once labor unions begin dominating U.S auto-manufacturing, quality declined as the U.S automakers had to become creative in order to remain competitive. I personally believe Ford Motor Company which had the most experience with labor unions did things the smartest, by REFUSING TO GROW too large, when most people think Ford, they think of F-150.

The problem I see with Amazon once the labor unions come in is that Amazon is already large. Walmart gives its workers all sorts of perks to persued them from joining a labour union, in order for Amazon to prevent labor unions from destroying it, it should offer its staff more.

Yes I get it, and trust me if I were younger Amazon would be the only company I’d want to work for if I was an entry-level worker, but labor unions present themselves very well to entry-level workers who imagine they will get all the perks Amazon offers now, for 1/3 of work and obligations to perform their duties!

I teach my kids about political pimps and hustlers, but it’s unlikely other parents do the same. A lot of people don’t get it and in Germany, as many people know it’s the regulation hub of the world. Everything is regulated in Germany, which should terrify Germans if their country is ever flooded with economic migrants,  who will use the  German current regulatory system to destroy German, I’m this or that minority and I need special protections.

In America, minority regulations have basically destroyed its private sector. Any person who claims minority status does so and is considered an idiot if they don’t take advantage of the perks that go along with being labeled a minority by the government. In Germany, their current regulatory environment is something of legend.

You need a permit for almost everything in Germany, but again the Germans were smart enough not to allow the special interest groups to destroy their trade schools. Like it or not, as proven by the Japanese, higher economic IQs can prevent unnecessary job losses, as people who comprehend that we’re all in this together don’t take a short-sighted approach to their employers or job creators.

Jeff Bezos stepping down as chief executive of Amazon at the moment at least looks like a very smart move!
