As many of you know I lean more towards the right political, however I do agree with the Liberal government’s right to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Nobody is forced to join Facebook, Google, Netflix and other digital giants. However Canadians are FORCED TO PAY TAXES and the CRA has a history of being hacked. Do we need regulate the CRA more? Should the Canadian taxpayer pay even more to regulate paying more taxes.
I applaud Justin Trudeau’s current position of doing absolutely NOTHING, I wish politicians would do moreof absolutely nothing in more situations. If the government has do anything what they could do is send a message out to Canadians stating you do not have to join any company or share any of your information online if you don’t want to.
HAROON SIDDIQUI has a right to voice is opinion however I agree with the Canadian Prime ministers current position DO NOTHING! Human beings are complicated, build a fort knox humans will find a way to break in, humans love challenges, it’s human nature, websites will get hacked. If you’re scared don’t join Facebook, don’t join Netflix don’t join internet giants. Facebook has a terms of service and a privacy policy consider reading it before signing up. Or if you don’t want to read it don’t join or join and live with the consequences.
I know lots of people that have fake Facebook accounts where they don’t use their real names, real locations or anything. The only thing the Prime minister could do is warn Canadians about the dangers of posting or giving their personal information to private entities online. This is not complicated issue and Canadians don’t need to pay more money for this totalitarianism nonsense.
