How Justin Trudeau Made Jagmeet Singh’s NDP Party Less Attractive – January 5, 2018,

Justin Trudeau’s Liberals have gone so far left that the need for the NDP has basically disappeared, Unifor union President Jerry Dias has already made it clear that he and people like him will be voting for Justin Trudeau in the upcoming election. The reason why a lot of progressive types are making their positions known now is how close most people expect the coming election to be between the Liberals and the Conservatives. Personally, I wouldn’t be voting for the Liberals, Conservatives or the NDP, my vote as of this day resides with the People’s Party of Canada. I personally anticipate that the People’s Party of Canada has a very real chance that it can come in 3rd place, potentially upsetting the Jagmeet Singh’s New Democratic Party.

Although at this stage this is more or less wishful thinking on my part, what I think the problem Justin Trudeau has created is a very similar problem that tends to get created whenever an NDP candidate becomes Premier of a province. Whenever an NDP candidate becomes Premier of a Canadian province, typically after about years, resentment for that NDP Premier grows and grows, this happens primarily because NDP policies handpick winners and losers, and making matters worse is that when the NDP picks winners and losers they don’t even consider the implications of their economic decisions.

ICBC the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, a provincial crown corporation is a creation of the NDP. Ontario’s Auto insurance based primarily on failed Liberal policies is such disaster that Ontarians pay the most in Auto Insurance, well because of the NDP, recently British Colombia as surpassed Ontario in auto insurance rates. Now, what’s worse is that ICBC is a crown corporation with an entitled workforce, that have benefits not afforded to those employed in Ontario’s auto insurance industry.

I bring this up mainly to say that the NDP’s platform has been debunked, sure there are Canadians that will vote extreme left, but I think those votes this election will reside with Justin Trudeau. I actually don’t think this is a Jagmeet Singh problem, let’s say you replaced Singh with Andrea Horwath I think the NDP would have the exact same problem. Andrea Horwath like Singh reminds me of those overbearing parents that want to micro-manage everything you do, whereas Justin Trudeau at least on the surface gives the impression of a free-spirited surfer dude, that’s trying out this Politics thing for a few years.

I think Justin Trudeau’s message resonates with the young and I also think for the most part Justin Trudeau’s Liberals hijacked the NDP’s entire platform and put a corporatist spin on it. Canadians based on my observance of their behavior appear comfortable with corporatism, meaning Canadians don’t mind the Government picking economic winners or losers as long as they get some type of benefit from it. That aside, this move by Justin Trudeau is going to split the country in half.

I think this coming election if Justin Trudeau wins, will be so hurtful to Conservatives that Canada will be split in half, I’ve predicted that I expect Justin Trudeau will win a minority Government with Andrew Scheers Conservatives 2nd and the People’s Party of Canada 3rd. I’m of the belief that things in Canada will get worse before they get better. I expect an economic crash coming to Canada after the year 2020, I see Justin Trudeau presiding over that economic crash and I think this will be the time when Canadians finally say to themselves enough is enough, Progressivism isn’t working let’s take a different path.

Personally, I just think the New Democratic Party is on the wrong side of history, their policies haven’t worked and history has shown that everywhere they’ve presided has been a disaster. Picking winners and losers requires working with the rich and powerful, something the Liberals historically do very well. The Liberals believe in corporate welfare, something the NDP does not, and the Liberals for the most part challenge full-blown socialism something the NDP will not do.

There are thousands of interviews where you can listen to NDP representatives openly talking about bringing socialism to Canada. Canadians don’t like to hear the words Capitalism or Socialism too often, most Canadians like the idea of being in the middle, which is why the Liberals have gained a reputation for themselves of being the Center-Left political party. The NDP and British Colombia haven’t exactly been a match made in heaven and I’m interested in seeing what will happen when Karen Wang and Jagmeet Singh’s face off in B.C.’s Burnaby South riding

Karen Wang, Jagmeet Singh’s newest big problem – Macleans

Interesting times ahead
