Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada using Taxpayer Dollars, Lends Failing Gateway Casino a loan worth $200M – October 9, 2020,

If you’re failing as a Casino, clearly there’s a management issue and as Pierre Poilievre the private sector refused to give Gateway Casino a loan. Now, in a casino, the owner has a right to throw a person out if said person is winning too much money.

Furthermore, it’s not like The Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) or derivatives of said UBI scheme isn’t available, so what is apparent and Pierre Poilievre’s point is quite clear is that the Gateway Casino hustled $200 million out of Justin Trudeau.
 

We’re not even talking about the manufacturer of important goods and services or restaurant chain or even something substantive, we’re talking about a Casino. If a Casino is failing anywhere, it’s clearly a management issue, I think Trudeau really felt this attack by Pierre Poilievre, because there’s no getting around this one, bailing out a failing casino was a boneheaded move.
