Kamala Harris sounds like a person who doesn’t have children, she’s already throwing out radical ideas of not only how to spend other people’s money but she will FORCE the free market to yield to her demands.
As most people know, price controls create SHORTAGES of things; there is currently a SHORTAGE of manufacturing jobs in the U.S. because of a PRICE CONTROL mechanism known as the minimum wage. There’s a SHORTAGE of housing in a lot of Democrat-run cities because there are price controls (labeled Rent Controls) on housing.
Price controls create shortages because if there’s no PROFIT MOTIVE, productive people aren’t going to risk their time, money, and energy-supplying individuals who are looking for someone to be their SLAVE.
With that said, Price Controls often allure idiot voters who want to hear easy answers, so we’ll see if this gives her a boost.
