Late Stage Socialism: Leger and the Association Poll says Justin Trudeau considered best to manage pandemic, revive economy :’-) – August 25, 2020,
Respondents to the poll, conducted by Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies believed that Justin Trudeau considered best to manage pandemic, revive economy :’-). Politics aside I wonder if a vast amount of those respondents even have a job let alone a business.
Being that Canada is pretty much giving away money that we’ll all have to pay back LATER via inflation, I personally can’t blame a financial idiot for assuming that Justin Trudeau is a genius. A person in my family (a Liberal supporter of course) actually said to me that they believe Justin Trudeau found some hidden money, that the Conservatives had stashed away somewhere and Trudeau was using it to help Canadians during the pandemic.
I’m a pretty conservative guy, and I can’t convince members of my family to see things my way. So I can only imagine what other Canadians with no Conservative influence in their lives think when they imagine economics. I 100% believe that the poll conducted by Leger and the Association has some truth to it.

The Conservative Party of Canada also will need some backbone if they plan to beat the Liberals in the future, because the problem with Late Stage Socialism, is that the people via democracy want easy answers and they want those answers fast.
As is the case with the Ontario economy right now, Kathleen Wynne destroyed the Ontario economy and Doug Ford comes along to attempt to clean up the mess, but fixing the problem in the late-stage socialism phase requires the leader to do some form of PAINFUL austerity measures, I personally think Doug Ford is more Conservative Erin O’Toole and Doug Ford even prior to COVID-19 didn’t shrink the size of Government, Stephen Harper didn’t cut the size of government either.
But to avoid rampant inflation the cost of running the government will need to be cut and this is part of the point I’m trying to make.

In this later socialism phase of Canadian history, Defunding the CBC as an example is old news, it’s not even substantive anymore. Maxime Bernier has been saying this for over a year now and it’s pretty clear when you listen to Erin O’toole that he’ll be appealing to center Left voters, many of whom I believe think Justin Trudeau is considered best to manage pandemic and revive the economy.
If Erin is going to pander to these voters, he and the Conservative Party will be blamed for the inevitable economic downturn.
To prove my point, you might think it was Western Canada who voted for O’Toole to be the next leader of the Conservative Party, you’d be wrong, according to the article below it was Quebec and what this means as Maxime Bernier figured out when he lost Beauce riding to the Conservative Party of Canada is that Erin O’Toole ill be forced to go center-left, which means if Erin O’Toole becomes Prime Minister he’s going to be forced to alienate either Western Canada or Quebec.

In the late-stage socialism phase the people who know the root cause of the problem, refuse to be upfront about it, in fear of the democratic socialist mob. Socialism has a perfect record of destroying economies. It’s important to understand that even Karl Marx knew how effective Capitalism was at generating wealth, the flaw in Socialism is the assumption that there’s a late-stage capitalism phase, there is no such thing as late-stage capitalism.
Humans don’t like immediate change, humans are accepting of gradual change and socialism wins people over gradually, the socialist like to slow strip people of their liberties and freedoms, slowly control what words they can use and slowly manipulate the money supply, the flaw in socialism is of course, lack of incentive, if I get paid more to do nothing than I would get paid to work hard, eventually more and more people will opt to be less productive.
Attitudes towards economics will obviously change and during the late-stage socialism phase, nobody sees the disasters on the horizon when they’re hypnotized by socialism, one-day people wake up to hear the news that something is wrong, during this period, people accustomed to economic disasters assume that it’s an easy fix, the government will solve the problem they tell themselves, the problem gradually worsens and eventually, a new precedence is established, something is wrong with the country, but nobody including Conservatives will be able to pin-point the exact problem.
By that time thousands of things will be wrong and nobody will want to give up their special privileges afforded to them via the Government and like it or not, cutting the size of government won’t be the only problem, because a lot of people will then lose trust in the government and at the point, who knows what will happen.
Don’t worry late-stage socialism doesn’t always equate to violence, Argentina as an example hasn’t resorted to violence, after a while people get used to the new normal, but the people who suffer most during late-stage socialism are the poor!
Interesting times ahead!
