Late Stage Socialism: Political Lies Put Progressive Politicians in Tough Spot When the Canadian dollar is Debased – rally for rent control outside Halifax City Hall – November 11, 2020,

As governments all over the world fight deflation by providing liquidity to the financial systems, main-streeters who should be living in the best era in human history are forced to pay higher taxes and a much higher cost of living because they’re simply financially illiterate!

Progressive government Regulations are the reasons why rental prices are so high, to begin with. But shhh, don’t tell the morons who keep voting for the Liberals and the NDP. The Conservative Party of Canada, similar to former President Donald Trump instead of leveling with the people that the country is broke, prefers to pretend that they can be better conservative managers of this progressive era of economic destruction.

We’ve gone so far progressive that in America, their Socialist Left now has a place in the Democrat Party. Now, in the past the whether it was the National Socialism branch of the Democrat Party which was the KKK, or the Democratic socialists/Marxist sects, those fringe socialist parts of the Democrat Party would be silent and would only be dog-whistled when need be by the Democrat politician in charge.

Now, via Bernie Sanders, the Democratic Socialists feel a sense of belonging under the progressive movements. This is the reason why those of us on the Right keep calling Progressives, socialists, because eventually there comes a time in which the government can do no more ‘good’.

So in Halifax, where the minimum wages is currently $12.55 per hour, the people want to put a cap on rental increases(do you see the irony), but what most progressives don’t understand about rental increases is that the government can’t do anything about the listing prices, the government can only lock in rental prices and in order for the government to even lock in rental prices, the owners of said rental property have to see a profit, which they can only get by raising rental prices to new tenants.

Also, the problem with rental controls is that developers will stop building housing, and if the government starts building housing, maintenance cost for government rental housing will usually skyrocket, while the usually unionized government maintenance workers demand higher wages.

You see the problem with Progressives is that they’re short term thinkers, there comes a period in time I like to call late-stage socialism in which all roads point to an economic downturn. Late Stage Socialism is derived from Karl Marx who came up with Late Stage Capitalism, well in a capitalist society as Karl Marx points out, the problem isn’t higher prices, the problem is that the capitalists push prices down, so even by Karl Marx’s standards, Capitalism isn’t the problem with the Halifax rental market, the problem is clearly government policy, the problem is socialism, which by the way PREDATES Marxism.

So what’s the fix you ask? To fix this problem Canada needs massive austerity measures, Canada needs to get rid of unnecessary FINANCIAL regulations, Canada has to allow interest rates to rise to market levels, Canadian politicians have to stop making promises that don’t work. Now obviously none of what I wrote will happen, so what will inevitably happen is a change of some kind or a massive market crash, once the Private Sector can longer finance this bloated government.
