Leftist Vote Splitting continues to help the Liberals: By Splitting the Vote the NDP and Green Party Help The Liberal Party of Canada – October 28, 2020,
So, if you look at the York Centre riding, which was won easily by Liberal Party candidate Ya’ara Saks, you might also notice that The NDP’s Andrea Vásquez Jiménez(5.8 %) and the Green Partys Sasha Zavarella(2.6 %) got a combined 8.4% of the vote, so to all of those moronic Conservative Party of Canada members who claim Maxime Bernier is splitting the vote, what you should be doing is thanking him, because splitting the vote has benefited the Leftists in Canada tremendously.
In York Centre, Liberal Party candidate Ya’ara Saks won with 45.7 cent of the vote, against 41.8 per cent for Conservative Party candidate Julius Tiangson after a very tight race. The NDP’s Andrea Vásquez Jiménez placed third with 5.8 per cent, with 143 out of 143 polls reporting.
Maxime Bernier and his People’s Party garnered 3.6 per cent of the votes in York Centre, which is in Toronto’s north end.
Both ridings are considered Liberal strongholds. The Liberals captured more than 50 per cent of the vote in both ridings in last fall’s general election.

Canada’s Left-wing Political Parties are more Diverse. Canadian Conservaitves Should Stop Imagining They’re Living In America
Vote splitting has been a net benefit to the Liberals, currently, Jagmeet Singh and Annamie Paul have joined Justin Trudeau in the Leftist swamp, these Leftist swamp creatures built their political brands via years of hard work and it worked, I think the York Centre riding is a perfect example of how vote-splitting benefits the Leftists.
Now imagine that had been a Federal election and the Conservatives beat the Liberals by the same margin but both the Greens and the NDP had enough votes to stop the Conservatives from doing anything, who wins under that scenario? In many instances, Stephen Harper was compromised, he frequently had to play a balancing act in parliament, now had the Reform Party hung in there, Canadian politics would look a whole lot different now.
By consolidating votes to the Conservative Party of Canada, The Conservative Party of Canada has been able to go further Left, why? Because they have nobody to answer too. This of course is what led to the creation of the NDP and then the Greens. Now, as most people know, once you become a right-winger who understands economics, there’s no going back, people usually becoming Leftists, because of their lack of knowledge of Western values.
The classical Liberals were not socialists, Classical liberals simply didn’t want church and State to be merged, some classical Liberals justify the need for a welfare state and that’s fine, but many Canadians have embraced socialism primarily because the Leftist political Party’s never gave up on their pursuit of power.
Now, admittedly, as a Right-winger myself, I don’t like politics, I’d rather write about the private sector, but I have to write about politics because I don’t think Canadians remember how prosperous the world was when the government was restricted from growing via a Gold Standard.
Because we’re living under a debt-fueled fiat monetary Standard, Justin Trudeau at present looks like a genius, why didn’t someone else come up with this spend, regulate, and tax system sooner, a Leftist can justifiably argue, well as Canadians will soon learn, there are consequences consuming more than you produce.
However, the real problem will be when Justin Trudeau officially bankrupts Canada, what inevitably will happen is Canadians will vote for the Conservative Party of Canada to clean things up, my problem with this is the lack of financial education, will lead us down this road again.
You see had the reform Party been around during Harpers era, and Trudeau won, there would have been TWO separate conservative party representatives in the house of commons now, this completely changes the media, it completely changes Alberta and Western Canada’s situation and it completely changes governance.
The media currently has to acknowledge Maxime Berniers’ presence, he got nearly 4% support in a very Liberal riding. Living in Toronto, I can tell you from experience that a lot of people in the city will NEVER vote for the Conservatives, most of those Leftist votes are locked, if they’re not voting for the Liberals, they’ll vote for the NDP or Greens, that’s how their minds work, because in their minds the Conservative Party of Canada are a bunch of CHEAPSKATE Liberals!
Why have Liberal-Lite when I can get the full Leftist experience? Whether you like it or not, that’s how their minds operate. Now, at the very least if there was a Party openly talking about lower the cost of living, even if the Left-wingers didn’t like Maxime personally, they’d consider him.
Leftism is expensive and most adults start calculating in their heads the cost of government, because austerity measures are often off the table when it comes to the Conservative Party of Canada, who can blame people for voting to expand government? Now, had there been an established no-nonsense Right-Wing Party even if people disagreed with it, they’d have to pay attention because as everyone knows, hen it comes to finances right-Wingers can predict the future.
We all know in Canada it’s not about if, it’s about when the economy collapses, and what needs to happen in my opinion is imagining Canada post-economic crash. We’re currently living under the Paul Martin corporatist economic model that Stephen Harper never changed.
Post Trudeau, the Conservatives can’t repeat what Mulroney did, Trump reminds me of Reagan and O’Toole reminds me of Brian Mulroney, The modern Conservatives from my perspective are further Left than the Jean Chrétien Liberals and this for me is why Canadians on the Right should consider supporting Maxime Bernier.
Canadian history doesn’t have to mirror American history, we deserve better and we’ll get better if Canadians on the Right start voting based on their beliefs!
Interesting times ahead!
