The actual reason SOME people hate Capitalism, is because of it’s DEFLATIONARY properties. REJECTING capital is part of the capitalist system. Example, Bitcoin wants to be considered the go to CAPITAL in the world, and most of the world still hasn’t accepted bitcoin as their preferred choice of accumulating CAPITAL.
Even though Bitcoin can fetch you around $60KUSD today, this doesn’t mean everyone will accept it as PAYMENT. Limitarianism similar to all other SOCIALIST theories revolves around CENTRAL powers examining when it is proper, moral or ethical to interfere and intervene in the lives and freedoms of individuals.
It reminds me of LATE STAGE CAPITALISM, it seeks to have a REFEREE who will decide when you’re too wealthy. Socialists, left-wingers, and deniers that capitalism works all want a CENTRAL power to DEFINE wealth and, therefore, decide when someone is too wealthy.
Those of us in the anarcho-capitalism space, openly admit that capitalism isn’t perfect, but INFLATION is not capitalism, what actually protects the Uber wealthy is the GOVERNMENT, yes, the same government that these “Limitarianists” want to empower to REDISTRUBUTE the wealth.
We’re currently on a RULE BY FIAT monetary system, we’re using GOVERNMENT money, we’re not on a gold standard, we can’t even call what we have in modern times capitalism, in the west we do have market economies, and the CURRENT government REGULATIONS, PROTECT, empower and enrich the uber wealthy.
Elon Musk for example is the wealthiest man on earth because of GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES. Elon Musk who supports a carbon tax, is the beneficiary of government RULES and REGUALTIONS, because he created a business that the GOVERNMENT or the central powers like.
Elon’s MASSIVE wealth has little to do with a market economy, sure he’d be wealthy anyway, but government subsidies GUARANTEES his wealth, he’s TOO BIG TO FAIL.
Once you take the position, that the MARKET economy must be destroyed, to make way for this NEW SOCIALISM, eventually everyone gets affected, because they’ll come a time when people get bored with “Limitarianism” and want to MODERNIZE it to fit the next new SOCIALIST ideal.
The flaw of capitalism is that INNOVATION, can make old ideas OBSOLETE, although this might not seem like a flaw to people like myself, the unfortunate reality is that freedom of thought allows for socialist ideals to spread. The problem with socialism is that it’s an attack on FREE SPEECH, any NON-MARKET based ideal, is indeed CENSORSHIP.
We are RELIEVING you of your wealth today, because the Collective has decided that you’re TOO WEALTHY, and we Limitarianists know what’s best for you and your PROPERTY.
This sounds all well and good until the TAX MAN/Limitarianists, come knocking on your door, relieving you of your property, because it’s time to REIMAGINE Limitarianism, why stop at the uber wealthy, you’re making more money than I am and it’s making me FEEL BAD, now that the uber wealthy are under control, let’s tackle the real problem GREED. Let’s make sure everything is EQUITABLE, let’s ABOLISH property rights and create a society that allows us to RENT anything we need from GOVERNMENT.
