A better solution would have been to add “No Liability” clauses to the destruction of basketball nets while their waste management trucks were picking up garbage. Although legislation may have been necessary, whoever approved this law should be fired immediately, as this should be a private INSURANCE-related matter. Insurers and the insured could have easily solved this problem. The mere fact that this was legislated shows the type of lazy IDIOTS involved in local politics.
