Minimum Wage Debunked – Why Amazon & Walmart Love the Idea
One of the stupidest laws ever made in the history of the world is minimum wage, it’s a regulation for retards, especially when understand that our entire system is based on the consumer. I think people forget that humans used to live off the land, many still do and the reality still remains that humans don’t need money. Maybe you’ve been convinced that you need money, maybe Hollywood and other entities told you, that you need money, but all money is, it’s a convenient form of barter, an easier way of exchange, a faster way to exchange goods and services. But make no mistake about it, if the entire money system crashed tomorrow, what’s left are people.
This is basically the concept of Christianity, that often goes overlooked in a greed driven society. Most people view the capitalists as greedy, but if you know anything about capitalists, most of them prefer cash producing assets over money. Or in easier to understand the terminology, instead of oranges, the capitalist prefers the ownership of the tree. The Marxists want all of society to own the tree and the oranges the tree derives, which sounds ideal in theory but if the commune can enter into your property or confiscate your property at any time, where’s the incentive for you to be productive.
The Pigmy’s live off the land but have to be protected from extinction because based on their commune there’s no incentive for them to raise their standard of living. This doesn’t make them less than or better people, they’ve existed for thousands of years, but the end result to their existence yields the same standard of living they’ve had thousands of years. But even in their society, they wouldn’t create a minimum wage as it would still be symbolic of a group of people being less than others.
In market-based employment system, what you earn is a reflection of you, which gives you more incentive to be the best person you can be. The worst thing about minimum wages is what it says to the people who used to make a lot more than minimum wages, but who now are faced with teenagers who make via a government decree what might have taken them 10+ years to work and earn, imagine the resentment, I’ve seen it happen in real time plenty of times.
