Old Testament Context and Censorship
As a Christian, when I think of Muslims and Jews, what comes to mind is the Old Testament and pagan worship. As a Christian, you must read the Old Testament to give the New Testament proper context.
In the Old Testament, censorship is common. Interestingly, the Quran, which was written after the New Testament, carries a similar Old Testament-style, censorship-oriented tone. In my view, the Quran removes joy from life. It is a censorship-driven text.
Censorship, Politics, and New York City
If you ask me, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is dog-whistling to followers who want to make life difficult for Jews in New York City. At the same time, many Jews are pro-censorship and politically left-leaning, often championing censorship agendas they believe benefit Jewish interests.
There are also Christians who support censorship. I will not pretend that all Christians read or understand the Bible. However, for the most part, Christians champion free speech. This is often why it becomes difficult for people like me to come to the defense of Jews without sounding hypocritical.
Free Speech Versus Hate Speech Laws
Islam is relatively easy to deal with in a free speech environment. Islam, like atheism, becomes far more difficult once hate speech laws are introduced. Once hate speech laws exist, you need human hate speech monitors.
That is where the real problems begin.
Enter the Jew
Jews, as a group, rank very high in terms of intelligence, and many become lawyers. A high-IQ lawyer operating within hate speech regimes may come to see themselves as a moral authority, capable of shaping laws that favor their group, while also controlling significant portions of mainstream media.
However, micromanaging human behavior is exhausting. Even if one generation is willing to do it, the question becomes whether their children or grandchildren will continue that effort.
Islam, Atheism, and Collective Thinking
Islam appeals to people who want others to do their thinking for them. Many atheists operate in a similar way. Islam therefore attracts many low-IQ individuals who can, in some cases, form majorities. People who lack critical thinking skills often gravitate toward wherever social action appears strongest.
Socialism, Jews, and Power
Socialists are always searching for an enemy to destroy. Many Jews are socialists. Bernie Sanders is Jewish, and many Jews become atheists for understandable historical reasons.
If a Jew sees Christianity as a cult, they are missing the rugged reality of free speech. Jesus died for what He believed. He did not charge money, did not promote violence, did not preach sexual indulgence, did not endorse multiple wives, and did not wage wars.
Christ was killed because Jews and Gentiles alike loved censorship. If you love censorship, you hate the truth.
Hate Speech Environments and Social Justice
Zohran Mamdani would be insignificant in a true free speech environment. In a hate speech environment, however, where government authorities control speech, social justice becomes the new god.
When social justice dominates culture, those considered socially fashionable gain power.
Capital, Discipline, and Leverage
Jewish discipline, which I believe comes from God, gives Jews leverage over figures like Zohran Mamdani. As people of the Book, Jews do not bow to idols. One effective response to political hostility is capital withdrawal.
Historically, Hitler resorted to violence because Jews, like many Chinese communities, are disciplined. By contrast, atheists, Muslims, secularists, and many Christians are often complacent or lazy.
Socialists Are Lazy and Want Rewards Without Production
Socialists prefer issuing demands rather than producing value. Their logic is simple: those with money must surrender it because outcomes are unequal. If compliance is refused, conflict is threatened.
Socialism becomes appealing to Jews because Jewish scripture teaches that they are God’s chosen people. Combined with high intelligence and political leverage, socialism can appear advantageous, particularly when paired with hate speech laws that suppress opposition.
Communication, War, and Censorship
Muslims believe Jesus was only a prophet. Many Muslims view Jews as arrogant. For Christians, Muslims are not the core problem. The real problem is secularists controlling narratives despite their incompetence.
Wars begin when communication collapses. Communication collapses when one side demands censorship.
Free Speech as a Christian Principle
As a Christian, I accept ridicule of Jesus Christ. Muslims can call me an infidel. Jews can call me a Gentile. I do not believe in hate speech laws.
I believe in yelling “fire” in a crowded theater. My solution is simple: build more exits. God gave humanity innovation, not censorship.
Many ideas promoted by censorship advocates are intellectually bankrupt. “We need to censor you” has become a substitute for argument.
Zohran Mamdani as Political Demand
Zohran Mamdani represents political market demand in New York City. I do not live there, so I may never fully understand it. He won fairly, and time will reveal the outcome.
Financially, Jews hold leverage. Socially, Mamdani and his supporters hold leverage. From my perspective, that would feel constraining for a financially successful Jew living in New York City.
If you are young, you have time to endure ideological chaos. If you are a middle-aged Jew with financial means, the decision to stay becomes far more complicated.
Detroit once thrived until socialism hollowed it out. Mamdani openly identifies as a socialist, though Democrats have long embraced socialist policies. What has changed is that younger generations now openly embrace the label, making outcomes more predictable and capital flight easier.
