Lower the internet bill you say? Sure, the Liberals just added a new regressive tax to online shopping, and chances are if the CRTC is given powers similar to those in Communist China, the telecoms will probably be legally allowed to pass higher costs onto consumers.

Technology doesn’t sit still and people are always going to want to upgrade their internet plans and as is the case with rent controls, the government can only protect people with existing plans, newer plans, like buying a new rental lease on a new apartment will have a new inflated prices.
