Nova Scotia’s health care ‘crisis’ is Canada’s crisis too, The Universal Health Care flaw Canada doesn’t want to talk about! – April 27, 2019,
Imagine talking to the average Canadian about changing or ending Universal Health Care? You’d be labeled a monster, it’s a Canadians right to “free” health care correct? I’m entitled to someone else’s labor and the general taxpayer has agreed to pay for it. Yes, of course, Canada’s health care system is viewed as more complex than that, but make no mistake about it, Canada’s Universal Health Care system is a price controlled environment. No, I should point out that there are so many price controlled industries in Canada that if we ever had a currency crisis hyper-inflation would be inevitable, especially if the leader didn’t understand the root cause of the financial crisis.
The story below is a preview Canadians should expect in the future, and sorry Canada, this isn’t the 1980’s or 1990’s when we could attract Europeans to Canada in pursuit of a better life. Most of the top countries for quality of life have a higher valued currency than Canada, with a very similar standard of living. Being that the third world is getting better and more developed Canada is also going to have a hard time attracting 3rd foreign labor that can do complex jobs like… oh… I don’t know… performing surgery? The story below isn’t only happening in Nova Scotia, it’s happening all over Canada, it’s just that Nova Scotia not only has a brain drain, it also has a population boom… of immigrants.
Now, what the government will tell you is that these immigrants are helping us more than they’re consuming, but the numbers tell a different story. The numbers show that the behavior of many of these immigrants mimics the behavior of Old Stock Canadians, which is, if the industry is price controlled and heavily regulated we’ll let someone else do that job.
Nobody wants to work in a heavily regulated work environment, and if they do, they want to be compensated for it, something that a have not province like Nova Scotia can do. Privatization attracts people, some humans, health care professionals included don’t want to be in a price-controlled heavily regulated environment, making matters worse are the Bill Morneau types, who label doctors and other small and medium-sized businesses tax cheats. Why put up with that when you don’t have too? If you’re a doctor, why subjugate yourself to government abuse, when America is nearby? Now, if you really love Canada, wouldn’t it make sense to move to a not so Liberal province? where at the very least you can enjoy life in a larger city?
This the reality when you live in a province like Nova Scotia, which tends to vote for big government. When you’re on the upper echelon of these price controlled financial redistribution schemes, one day you start to ask yourself what’s in it for me? People love to blame medical professionals when things go wrong for them, and typically when immigrants migrate to Canada, many tend to have problems that require professional assistance, now if these migrants that were coming to Canada, were Doctors who were recognized by our educational standards, well I’m pretty sure this story that you can read below wouldn’t be much of an issue.
But the harsh reality is that the migrants that are coming to Canada aren’t ready to do certain jobs, which means that they’re a strain on the system. Making matters worse or regulations, which kill job growth, Canadians don’t like talking about abolishing minimum wages, I’ve come to understand that, Canadians want easy answers and well the easy answer days are being challenged by an emerging world that in time is going to have a major push back against protectionism. The story below is a warning of things to come, especially if mass migration continues.
