Every day in Canada, people are openly breaking the law and the justice system in Canada is breaking down, there’s still a correctional officer shortage in almost every province in Canada, after criminals openly break gun control laws in Canada, the Canadian justice system often give them a slap on the wrist, because remember, just because ou convict someone of a gun-related offense, doesn’t mean you can lock them in jail forever!
Humans have to monitor criminals in prisons and jails are expensive, so when you create a gun ban don’t assume criminals are going to even care. Youth are often mules for guns that are smuggled into the country and patrolling the U.S Canadian border isn’t cheap, it’s not like the government is all-powerful with unlimited resources, gun-bans aren’t the problem criminals are the problem and if via regulations you regulate law-abiding gun owners out of existence, who by the way for the most part already can’t protect themselves, what you’re opening the door for is more criminality and bigger strain on the government to solve a problem that they make worse.
When someone gets arrested for a gun offense, the charges are usually a slap on the wrist, this is the problem, legal law-abiding gun-owners aren’t the problem, furthermore one of the main problems with the Nova Scotia shooting was that the police showed up too late, the police always show up too late, typically a criminal isn’t going to shoot people when they know RANDOM people can shoot back.
A lot of oddballs journalists in Canada, living in Toronto I’ll tell you from experience, criminals don’t care about gun control laws, being that I went to school with many of these thugs most of the criminals know the law front and back because all of their criminal friends have been in and out of the justice system.
I comprehend that Leftists imagine the government to be this perfectly efficiently run institution that always gets the bad guys, but it’s not, even if our justice system gets the bad guy, the bad guys have rights, and can often become the victims in our justice system.
I know several mothers whose sons were shot and killed and the SHOOTER who killed them walked free in less than 7 years! That’s Canadian justice, gun controls, and all up close! Law-abiding gun owners don’t want to hurt other humans, law-abiding people aren’t calculated when it comes to other people’s lives, criminals are calculated, criminals know what to expect once they get arrested, they know how to play the victim they know how to get a plea deal and once they’ve killed someone, they view the Canadian court system as a joke!
