Ontario government will attempt to halt the minimum wage hike the unions with the help of Wynne’s Liberals tried to force on Ontario  – September 26, 2018,

Let me first make something abundantly clear, I am pro higher wages for Canadian employees. In many places in Europe, they didn’t need to create a minimum wage for people to know that they shouldn’t work for anything less than they believe their time and labor is worth. To Anyone in Canada reading this, I want you to know that if you think that your own minimum wage as an adult is worth nothing less than $15 per hour, do not work or accept any work for anything less than $15 an hour, most of the people I worked with way back in the 1990’s refused to work for anything less than $20 an hour and guess what their wishes were granted without any government forced intervention.

In the real world what happens is you show what you can do and dare the employer to find someone better. Good work is hard to find and nothing feels better than bartering your wages. I love bartering, bartering is life and the sooner Canadians get back in touch with bartering the richer we’ll be as a country. Now, in the real world what a union is supposed to represent are hard working great employees that are worth nothing less than the wage the Union suggests the employer pay. But Canadians view unions all wrong, they’ll usually set up a union after they’ve been working at a job site. The union should exist before hand and you as the employee should tell the employer the union you represent. If the Union opts not hire you, it’s up to the union to fight for you oer solicit the companies business. In Canada our Unions are extremely lazy and have a different and what I would consider to be a very lazy model of doing business, which is why they’re often running to the goverment to force pay hikes.

As an example if I worked for ABC union and the members of this union are metal workers, the company setting up shop in any Canadian province could opt for cheaper labor, but the results could be problematic, as the employer probably have to spend more money to train people or be forced to work with temp employees who will only show up at work when they feel like it or he could use the simple solution and work with a trade union. In many parts of the world this is how to deal with companies, this is why there are so many small businesses, or family run businesses in Europe.

This is the real world, this is how things are supposed to operate, now in the scenario, I explained the trade or workers union would be in a position to negotiate, to barter their wages, they could even demand more wages to train their replacements if the company decided to take another direction, they would also have the right to voice their displeasure with such and such company if they so pleased.

But this is not the reality in Canada, the reality in Canada is that the Unions, The big corporations and the Government are all in bed together. This is why NAFTA has become so problematic, this is why minimum wages in Ontario are so high and exist in the first place. Minimum wages should be abolished, minimum wages give people an excuse not to find a job, minimum wages force automation to exist, idleness is the devils’ playground and minimum wages create unforeseen problems that wouldn’t exist otherwise.

Trudeau’s Liberals have created a lot of public sector jobs because it’s too expensive to start a business in Canada. Our economy is so overly regulated and taxed that only very wealthy companies can afford to start a business here. If you’re of the belief that this is a good thing you’re sadly mistaken, if you’re wondering why the cost of living is so high it’s because the cost to import goods into Canada is expensive, the cost to operate a business in Canada is expensive, the cost ship products within Canada is expensive and the cost to start a small business to compete with major retailers is expensive and therefore extremely risky which is why our private sector continues to be reshaped to serve big corporations.

I will be keeping my eye on this story, because the socialists, the Unions, the snowflakes and the people who want more welfare will do whatever they can to make sure minimum wages get the level that the Unions in Ontario want to dictate.
