Canada has an interesting stance on taxes, immigration, welfare and universal health care. All this stuff amazes me, to be honest. I’m amazed how these programs go under the radar when people write about why rich companies as an example do everything in their power not to pay taxes. Just being honest, I’m for open borders, I’m for open borders as long as the country we’re bartering with is for open borders also. But, you see if there are open borders there can’t be any welfare, there can’t be universal health care and basically, if someone immigrates to Canada they have to take care of themselves. When America had a tiny welfare state America had open borders and one of the most interesting stories open America’s open borders were the number of people that returned back to their countries of origin.
The people that attempted to live in America without the Welfare State found life in America too difficult so they immigrated back to their countries of origin. In a world without welfare and taxpayer-funded Government programs, only like-minded individuals will migrate to a country. America has an immigration lottery system, Trudeau like his father has taken a very relaxed and welcoming position to immigration and why shouldn’t he, if things get chaotic he’s rich enough to be where things will be safe.
The rest of us, we have to pay for it, because the rich have the resources not to pay for it and why should they? If you say a government or a person spending your money on anything they felt like wouldn’t you want to protect yourself? Wouldn’t you at the very least want to spend your money and things or the causes you’re passionate about?
Canada needs a wake-up call, I’m not sure when it’s going to happen but um older people tend to need more health care and Canada does have a skilled labor shortage as well as problem funding our current health care system. This is where I say fiat currency has it’s positives because if there was a gold backed currency all these government programs would have been bankrupted years ago. However, at the very least you as an individual now have the time to protect yourself from the coming economic collapse.
It’s going to get tough people and I advise anyone reading this to pay close attention to government spending because the private sector in Canada is shrinking while Trudeau’s Liberals are growing the public sector. This parent sponsorship program is a net loss for Canadians, most of these parents are liabilities not only to the families sponsoring them but to Canadian taxpayers. A lot of these parents will never work, some will even collect welfare and there are no positives from an economic standpoint for Canadians.
Furthermore one of the reasons Justin Trudeau’s Liberals are able to speed up this process is because he’s going to hire more public services workers who also need to get paid to bring parents and elderly people into Canada who eventually might become a burden on the taxpayer. The public sector is reliant on the private sector to survive, the private sector in Canada is dying on multiple fronts. In my opinion, one of the worst things that could happen to Canada moving forward is if Trudeau wins this trade war with Trump because what this will signal to the Canadian elites is that we’re on the right path to success.
I have to remind Canadians that once manufacturing in Canada becomes a thing in the past and Canada becomes extremely dependent on other nations to export us things, that’ when there will be a currency crisis, once manufacturers are gone it’s hard to bring them back, it’s also hard to find the skilled labour.
