President Trump Delivers Remarks on the United States Mexico Canada Agreement / Trudeau and Freeland praise USMCA trade deal – October 1, 2018,

Being that I’m Canadian I put the Canadian video first, but if you have the time I advise you to watch both videos and notice the difference in energy, passion, and understanding of NAFTA between the Canadians and the Americans. For me, the Canadian interview was uncomfortable to watch, hard to listen too and quite frankly rather embarrassing. I have to say this and be honest about it, I don’t like feeling like I know more about economics than the person running my country.

Sure, my views are rather conservative, but honestly speaking if I were to be face to face with Jean Chretien, Paul Martin, Pierre Trudeau, Brian Mulroney or Stephen Harper, I can confidently say that I think I would lose an economic debate to those men. I don’t think I would lose an economic debate with Justin Trudeau, and if I did I think observers would consider it an upset. There was no upside for Canada regarding NAFTA negotiations, what we got was the ability to access the U.S market.

I have to remind readers a few things, the Canadian dollar is only low because of Corporatism in Canada. The Canadian dollar should not be at Parity with the Australian dollar. The Canadian dollar is lower than the U.S dollar because there has been little no emphasis in Canada growing its abundant energy markets. This is not to say that aren’t foreign entities profiting from Canada’s energy, however, if Canada’s energy markets were to blossom they way they’re supposed too, it would cost American’s about $1.25 to purchase $1 Canadian dollar.

Why isn’t the Canadian dollar allowed to grow? why hasn’t Canada become a more dominant player in the North American energy markets? It’s corporatism, it’s passivity, it’s Canadian media propaganda. There’s an old saying that goes “Let sleeping dogs lie”, Canada is the sleeping dog. Unions aren’t supposed to merge with the Government and the corporate sector, unions are there to protect workers not to force non-union members to conform under their policies if you listen to big unions in Canada, they protect the interests of big corporations. In the real world, in a free market, unionized employees are usually so intelligent that the boss or the owner of the company is almost useless. I know a lot of former union employees that now own their businesses, which is the point of a union, to begin with.

The point of joining a union is not to remain in the union for your entire life it’s to learn and evolve and eventually become an employer yourself. If you go to the United States what you’ll meet are a lot of entrepreneurs who used to be employees, so when they become bosses themselves they’re often very generous with how they pay their workers, they’ll even invite unions in with opening arms and educate their workers while they work for them. There’s no reason for a union to merge with the corporate sector, it’s why Argentina has so many problems now.

All this aside, when the hype surrounding NAFTA calms down, Canadians will start to see how Trump played Trudeau for a fool. Now, I’m a solution-oriented person, so let me say that I had said month’s ago if Canada wanted to derail the Trump train all they had to do was match Trump’s taxes and regulations. Trudeau actually had more flexibility than does Trump did when Trump started talking about NAFTA. But Trudeau sided with the Unions and the Corporatists which allowed Trump to back him into a corner.

Trade deadline? Why are taxes so high in Canada in the first place? Why is our economy so overly regulated? being that it’s going to take Trump month’s to even implement these changes, why not free up the Canadian market to Americans and demand Trump do the same for Canada. Trump lead with tariffs on Aluminum and Steel, that’s how he began his negotiations, why stoop to his level, why not take an opposite approach? It’s not like Canadians are that intelligent about economic matters anyway, instead, Trudeau took the corporatist approach which is why he had to make concessions and like I said before The Quebec sovereignty movement is something Canadians may have to watch out for in the coming month’s and people start to comb through the fine details of this trade agreement.

Canada only won on this new USMCA because we still have access to the U.S market, everything else was a loss. It’s really that simple. I don’t want to hear from Andrew Scheer conservatives either, I genuinely do not like the Progressive Conservatives after this debacle, I will still report on them fairly, but this definitely showed me their true colors. I expected Justin Trudeau to do what Leftist do which is protect their corporatist donors, but to see the Conservatives side with Trudeau, I would have been fine if the Conservatives had been silent or had told the media “we would have talked with President Trump and worked out the best deal for Canadian taxpayers.”

The Conservatives sided with Justin Trudeau and I don’t care what any of you say I’m not voting for Andrew Scheers Conservatives if Canada is stupid enough to rehire Justin Trudeau that’s on them, The People’s Party and the Libertarian Party are the only 2 political parties on my radar right now. Below are 2 videos.

I don’t care what you think of Donald Trump look how passionate he is about fighting for America and then Watch Justin Trudeau as if he’s auditioning for the school play, no passion, everything scripted, he has the smirk of a man that can’t wait to get the hell out of there, whereas Donald Trump will talk about his love for his country until he’s losing his voice. Canada we need to wake the hell up!

Interesting times ahead.
