Quebec Public School Teachers quitting their jobs as new parking rules will cost them hundreds of dollars, I support them! – February 6, 2020

Personally I disagree with the politics of Quebec, but I have a lot of respect for the individual teachers who are quitting their jobs over parking. This is my personal position towards teachers who believe that they’re not being paid enough for their jobs. Quit!, Currently, the Ontario public school teachers are on strike, disrupting parents lives all over Toronto, now if individual Ontario public school teachers had a problem with how they’re being paid, why don’t they quit?

The reason why Ontario public school teachers don’t quit is that they know they’re not deserving of more money, in the real world when you know you’re worth more, you don’t settle for less. The reason why Ontario school teachers don’t quit is that tens of thousands of teachers would gladly replace the existing teachers and would gladly take their salaries, in fact I personally know some unemployed teachers who take less money.

I only know the details I read, in the article below, however, if these Quebec teachers are quitting, because they believe they’re worth more than they’re being paid, I agree with the move. Public Sector workers shouldn’t unionize they should quit if they don’t like how they’re being treated at their jobs. if they can’t be replaced, then they’ve made their point as to why they should be more appreciated!
