I should add that as of today’s date the Canadian loonie is way lower than the U.S green back, oh yea I forgot to mention that the United States charges a lot less in taxes for fuel. Canada doesn’t have enough people, nor does it consume enough energy to smog any part of the planet. I’m open to listening to the whole pipeline debate, I actually see things differently when it comes to Alberta however as it stands now, the last thing Canada wants is for the Canadian dollar to cut ties with Oil.

If the Canadian loonie is no longer viewed as a petrodollar, Canada is headed for a world of trouble. If you watch those videos the mood seems rather lackadaisical, almost like isn’t that cute, Canadians are driving south of the border to fill up on gasoline, but the message is clear socialism is flawed, which equates to totalitarianism. This is how people fall victim to totalitarianism views, because how left leaning governments respond to this will be to charge Canadians another tax. Maybe a new carbon gasoline tax for filling up across the border, because this is the type of problem that will force Canadian gas retailers to either raise their prices or close business, which opens up a whole new type of problem.

I wish Canadians would open their eyes, and see how the free market solves problems, but as I see it now, that doesn’t seem to be the reality.
