Now, I’ll be perfectly honest with you, I like some of the stories CNBC does, the raise awareness on forgetting segments of the economy, now obviously CNBC knows their bread and butter are Left Wingers so when they present their stories they’re often catering to a Left Wing audience in a manner to make it seem like what they describe as capitalism is heartless and unsustainable.
I have to push back against this and remind the readers the real reason American Farmers Are Dumping Milk, by the way, Canadian farmers are dumping milk also, why? To prop prices up, now what’s the underlying reason American farmers are dumping milk? The answer is they’re not allowed to compete in a free market.
Across America, dairy farmers have dumped countless gallons of fresh, entirely usable milk, because there is no one to buy it. The shelter in place orders given by governments around the country in response to the coronavirus pandemic have shuttered big customers such as restaurants and schools and kept people at home. About 50 percent of the milk produced in the United States goes to restaurants and other food service operations, according to the National Milk Producers Federation.

The global blockade on Food
Just so everybody knows capitalism solved world hunger in about the same time Oil became currency. Ever heard of the petro-dollar? What’s the real reason why the U.S dollar was able to survive without a Gold-Standard, it’s because Gold became a clunky annoyance when Oil bursts on the scene.
People forget that money is nothing more than a convenient form of bartering, let’s say I live in Gold rich Africa, why the hell do I need to hoard Gold for? if I can barter the gold on my land for electronics, food, and a host of other things, I might even find myself as African barterer hoarding more foreign commodities than domestic ones, because those foreign commodities might make my life easier.
But, let’s get a little deeper, why is Africa poor? This may surprise you but Africa is poor because of Government regulations, in most parts of Africa the government decides who eats, American farmers, for the most part, are barred from selling into Africa, the governments in Africa decide who eats. Not even an African American farmer can penetrate the Africa market, it’s that restrictive.
Now, allow me to stop picking on the Continent of Africa because African political leaders aren’t the only Governments who do this, farming, in reality, exposes the world to the inefficiencies of Governments all over the planet who are ANTI-FREE-MARKET!
Your local Farmers have limited market access and therefore they have to price gouge the consumers they’re allowed to sell too!
This might fly over people’s heads, so you may have to whisper it to yourself at least 7 times before you comprehend my argument!
Trump had to make a deal with the Chinese government in order for American farmers to sell to Chinese Consumers, repeat that to yourself about seven-times then you’ll realize that Government causes world hunger.
Think about how dumb that sounds, Chinese people can’t eat until the Chinese Communist Party says so! China s not the only country that does this, this happens all over the world. I often make a joke, if you want to stop wars, send in American fast-food companies.
Ever heard of Kuwait threatening other countries? No, why? Because Kuwait has an obesity problem, oh it’s because Kuwait is an oil-rich nation you argue? Iran is an Oil-rich nation, Venezuela is an oil-rich nation, Nigeria is an oil-rich nation, the government regulations in Kuwait are different, that’s what happened, that’s why instead of a food shortage there’s a food surplus!
Don’t think that China is the only country doing this either, this a how it is globally! Africa, India, Asia any and all countries with food shortages have a government blockade on food imports, that’s food poverty explained in a nutshell!
In Canada where I live, recently the farmers were dumping their Milk because their supply management cartel is regulated primarily to the Canadian Consumers and therefore Canada’s supply management Dairy cartel has to make sure that Canadian consumers don’t ever imagine lower prices, governments all over the world are frightened by continual deflation, why?
Deflationary pricing creates conservative voters lower taxes and a more demanding voter. In my opinion, Switzerland has one of the best Governments on the planet, Swiss citizens are active in their politics and therefore better educated about economics. It’s not to say the Swiss are perfect or that they have a perfect government, it’s just that their system of governance isn’t clouded in propaganda!
Once individuals become fiscally Conservative, they rarely if ever become Leftists and even if they do become Leftist, they’re usually fiscally responsible Leftists, meaning that they can comprehend the strengths and weaknesses of Government, which is problematic for Leftist politicians who make their fortunes on growing the size and the dependence people have on Government.
Because if I as a citizen are taught to wait on the government to make the best food decisions, eventually I will convince myself not only that the Government knows best but that the private sector will kill me if the government doesn’t stop the private sector from pursuing profitability.
The video below intentionally goes into a direction, in which the viewer would naturally assume that capitalism is causing this! But I want anyone reading this to comprehend, that Government regulations cause food shortages, do you really think if Farmers had the chance to sell their products all over the world, they’d say no let’s keep this local? Of course not!
