I wrote about this way back in 2015 when Justin Trudeau was a candidate for Prime minister. There is no debating that Justin Trudeau is one of the dumbest Prime ministers in Canadian history when it comes to economic matters. That said even the mainstream media covered the fact that Justin Trudeau was in bed with Billionaires, basically guaranteeing them that his tax hikes wouldn’t affect them and he was basically going after Canada’s working rich, you know those people making over $200, 000 per year, yea those rich people, those are the rich people paying the highest taxes, yes the rich people that actually work and contribute to our society, you know the doctors, the dentists, the small business people who dare to make a profit those people.

The uber rich, the actual rich people who can pay tax accountants and Lawyers to fight back, those rich people who often hide their Canadian dollars in financial instruments that can’t be taxed, those rich people can’t be taxed, it’s almost impossible to tax those people as Warren Buffet even pointed out because their money usually aren’t in fiat dollars. Their wealth is usually tied up in liquid assets that are outside the realm of taxation.

This is why it’s never made any sense to raise taxes, this is why in socialist and communist countries, they use regulations to suppress people. In China taxes aren’t important, their governments care less about taxes and more about government control over the economy. Globalists like taxes because higher taxes make it less likely that those in charge with authority will be challenged.
In the real world what makes working people poor is buying things they don’t need or can’t afford. Paying higher taxes has the exact same effect. When the government taxes the population more what the government often does is they’ll buy things that they’re told will get them more political votes. The people that vote are usually the people who want things from the government. Nothing annoys me more than people who complain about the government but who don’t vote. I don’t even care if a person votes for themselves or votes for the lesser of 2 evils, vote and speak up.
Taxing the rich will never work, it won’t even work under a globalist scenario because they’ll always create loopholes or exceptions for themselves. The way how you balance society allows freedom to reign, humans are a lot more efficient than the government wants you to believe. Destruction always happens when 1 group seeks to dominate other groups. Justin Trudeau’s Liberals are morons, but a lot of Canadian morons voted them into power. I’m a realist I’m very curious to see what will happen in the upcoming federal election, it will tell me all I need to know about the future of my country
